Conniving rogues plague the land
Causing commotion that shames the land
Saintly men grace the land
Restoring order which raise the land

Thieving churches reaps the poor
Causing tears to taint the poor
Bloodthirsty mosques brainwash the poor
Causing blood to stain the poor

Greedy politicians lie to the people
Causing poverty to embrace the people
Incompetent technocrats shun the people
Causing stagnation to smile at the people

Women of easy virtue smile at the masses
Making frustration flee from the masses
Women of substance mock the masses
Making frustration laugh at the masses

Professional landlords feed on their tenants
Causing hardship to visit their tenants
Well meaning caretakers smile at tenants
Just so they can reap off the tenants

The people of Nigeria lie to Nigeria
Using religion/tribalism to further lie to Nigeria
Causing us to be where we are in Nigeria
For such is everyday life Nigeria
