Am sure u didn't watch it. I did and that wasn't the position

I watched the entire interview and I have also been listening to onovo after the elections, all he has been doing is to tell the world how incapable PMB is. Onovo is simply playing politics of bitterness. If the present Govt invites him or draw him closer, story go change my brother. He must have lost lots of resources in his failed elections misadventure.

I know someone who contested elections as state assembly member under pdp, he sold his jeep and now he uses his legs everywhere, you think such a person will commend this Govt? Contesting elections in naija no be beans. I feel onovo die

If I hadn't watched the video I would have thought the man made some sterling statements previously unheard.

He simply sounds pained about the loss of his benefactors or otherwise.

Yes, at the beginning he spoke about recurrent expenditure and government borrowing which was the area he should have elucidated upon without politicising.

It is incumbent upon the moderators, as they always do, to lean to the other side on political matters to ensure neutrality and in this case they did.

The Onovo man hasn't said anything worth shouting from the rooftop.

This is the usual back to back wailing and gnashing of teeth from those who gave you hits such as -

Where is your certificate?

Buhari can never rule this country.

Jega should be removed and heaven would not fall.

1. 5 million votes in Kano? How?

Thy should move on or embrace the change that is here and would not go any time soon.

Reality is here.

This is typical IPOB analysis

An APC politician from Katsina was arrested by EFCC and charged to court for Corruption.

Senator Sanni from Zamfara is in the APC and he is currently facing trial for corruption. You dont see Northerners shouting and defending them.

Olu Falae, Bode George are Yorubas and you dont see the SW supporting them

But immediately Metuh was arrested, all sorts of groups started shouting on the internet calling for his release, despite evidence that he was involved in corruption under Jonathan.

A man gave out $2million in cash in his house. What do you want the government to do? Ignore it?

Remi Tinubu is entitled to her opinion and for your info, she was referring to the women in IDPs and not Nigeria as a whole.

I'm sorry to say but you are more obsessed with IPOB than Nnamdi Kanu himself. From your posts you breath IPOB. Bro take an easy biko. Life is simple

Onovo acted like a fool today on Sunrise daily. They asked him what he will do differently on the economy? He didn't answer it.

He was trying to claim that the Minister of Power didn't have a plan. They provided details of the plan.

He has lost my respect for him.

Most of the negative comments are from those of the same geo-political zone as Onovo. He turned out to be a critic that had no solution to the policies he was criticizing. He was very shallow in his contributions and the sunrise presenters stood up to him and did not allow him use their First Class station to churn out propaganda. He was cornered by the presenters like a frightened rat and he turned rude and aggressive like his brother Metuh.

Nigerians went on twitter to react on the interview granted by Channels television to Martin Onovo.

So in what way was ONOVO confounding the channels interviewers.
What I see is a man simply creating his own rules-a very easy thing to do.
A man exhibiting and trading some ignorance-a very easy thing to do.
A typical African half-educated man showing stubbornness and failing to recognize polite insults, but feeling he must carry on - a very easy thing to do

What he said is it on point or not?

Some highlights of his interview

According to the Economic Policy Framework, the president should submit the budget by August, did that happen as scheduled? NO

If you're preaching economic discipline, does it make sense to incur N500 billion under the social plan to pay N5000 to unemployed graduates? NO

Understanding what needs to be achieved (Power) to increase economic growth, yet you have two ministers from the ministry alleging that they have no plan, does that boost confidence or not? NO

Speaking on the budget, was the benchmark of crude oil conservative enough $38 considering drop in oil prices ? NO

Still on the budget, why are there inconsistencies, three ministries merged (causing a reduction), yet you're borrowing 40% to finance budget yet 30% of that amount is for Capital, and the other 10%? Recurrent...is that responsible? NO

I would have been more detailed, but I don't believe this man is bitter as you make of him, PMB by his action is proving to be incapable of handling the economic. The economy isn't about witch hunting corrupt individuals, that wouldn't have any impact on us. Onovo mentioned about leadership, in fact, I'd recommend that you listen to the interview without bias.

only the wailers are hailing onovo, I have watched the entire interview and never saw where he had any upper hand as he spent more time attacking persons and his interviewers tried very hard to keep on the issues. Anybody who bashes PMB whether reasonably or not is welcome by the pdp and their wailers

yes the budget is not perfect and that's why its being debated at the senate but what does it have to do with the 1.9million votes in kano? what does the budget have to do with buhari's certificate, what does it have to do with whether someone won an election or not which was what onovo was hammering about, is it not a clear case of bitterness and painful loss in a miscalculated adventure?

The earlier you guys realise that most of PMB's critics are politically motivated to incite Nigerians against the present FG, the better for us. Few months ago we had terrible cases of fuel scarcity but its gone with the tactical removal of subsidy as if there was nothing at all, yet critics still say this FG lacks direction, I think its unfair, elections are over please

How are they supporting corrupt politicians, while the president is fighting the opposition party in the name of corruption. Everyone supports the president fight against corruption, but are the people in APC saint? besides democracy is at its best when their is a viable opposition, everyone cannot support a APC that's a fact, the ruling party have to deal with. No individual will support a bad government policy, take a look at the joke called budget, how do u expect an unbiased Nigeria to support it. No wonder Remi Tinubu said yesterday that " the change Nigerians voted is not what they are seeing today.
and my question to you is;even the so called opposition party you claime he's fighting, are the saint.are they not corrupt.don't they loot our money!oh sorry my money? Well, even if you're right that everyone can not be in support of one person agreed.but your party is corrupt and that those not free them from being accused. They aint saint man.

Once you critisize the govt of Buhari led APC. The yorubas(who have and officially and unofficially appointed themselves as his spokesman) will label you an ipod or biafran, regardless of the point you raised or even your tribe.
