I have an Aircon issues with my 2010 venza, it takes time to get cold during the day and might blow hot sometimes,
But cools well at nights,
AC BLOWS very cold on the Highway during the day,
Car has just 63000k miles,

Do i need to top the gas or i have a failing compressor

Have it checked it. Could possibly be either.

Check the pressure in the gas, check the ac fan then check the condenser for blockages, for me the presure comparison of ßoth sided is enough to know what the problem is

First point of call will be the cabin air filter. Replace if dirty... You should be able to replace that yourself. Check YouTube for videos

The A/c techie said the Ac system is fine and he Added Gas to it,
It worked fine
Next day Same issue, The weather was hot , it took more than a minute to start Blowing cold,
The A/c works fine but takes over a minute before it starts blowing cold in Hot weathers ,
I'l be glad if i can get any help, Also i notice if i accelerate the Ac blows more than when on idle,

Last night when i was coming back from the island,i felt the adrenaline rush in me so i decided to Floor The Gas and Exercise My 6 cylinders, i tried to overtake an Suv i downshifted and i expected a sharp Acceleration rather i got a blinking Cel and Tcs light, Luckily i was almost close to the house, When i parked i noticed the car was rough idling, i switched it of and On and everything seems fine No cel light or tcs light
I scanned it today no codes, I even took it for a very rough ride and heavy flooring but it responded well,
So now am confused,

Your check engine light blinking while driving means there is a misfire, could be a multiple misfire on all cylinders or a single misfire on 1 cylinder. You might want to check your spark plugs first.

Check other smaller components first. Do a thorough diagnosis first. Is your venza built with a climate control system. If it is you could scan the ac control unit for fault error (s)

From what u have explained your compressor is undergoing what is called low pumping of refrigerant but more diagnosis still need to be done with scanner to give you the exact component that is faulty call me on 08093734672

then the big question is where is it leaking from...
thats what the techs need to locate, it must b a serious leak for it to go bad just 1 day after refill....
the earlier the beta, u will most likely loose ur lubricating oil , and the compressor will sieze, if you continue driving n topping up refrigrant

. Venza aint a german machine,so don't expect it to perform without some lights coming on.

Possible causes of rough idle and flashing cel.
Worn spark plugs,
Clogged/clogging fuel filter
Clogged/clogging fuel strainer
Dirty air filter and maf

I will suggest u fix the blinking cel b4 looking@ d ac......I might b wrong, but d cel nd idle issue cn affect d ac nd cos it 2 blow cold wen u accelerate and nt so cold at idle cos d rpm is nt maintained @ ryte level@ idle.

again am no car tech bt it happnd 2 a friends car nd different car ac tech pointed in d direction of compressor, ac recharge, filter nd othee tinz. he also had rough/low idle though his own issue was due 2 iacv .after he cleaned d iacv d ac dy cool pass freezer at idle

I booked an appointment with an Engr Tomar,
Thing's to Be done
Tune Up , Spark Plugs, Oil Change, e.t.c

The Ac techie said something about Refrigerant and leakage...

Car Is Cool
The Venza is not really my choice because i never had a thought of buying it ,I would have opted in for the 2012 Srt8 Hemi Like i had in plan but i now have my eyes on the 2015 hellcat, By God's grace that's the next move we should be getting her soon , but i needed a sporty car to move with for the little time i just had to pick the Venza.

but i don't really like The Stiff suspension it's hard in potholes i feel almost everything,

Don't know if this would be helpful but i remember my Camry 2.2 having a similar issue where it doesn't cool during the day especilly when the sun is very hot and sometimes the AC light starts to blink while it blows hot. I filled the gas, changed the condenser and checked for leakage but the thing continued. The solution was just changing the drier which had been clogged by impurities and that was it. Don't know if this will work for a 2010 Venza anyways.
