I have heard some people saying women should be encouraged to participate in Politics. Hon. Dimeji Bankole also said it at the seminar organized by the Women in Parliament.

Would you jeopardize your marriage all in the name of politics?

Men : Can you allow your wife to be a full blown politician?

Nope, but we need to be careful how we look at this.
1. Everyone has a dream and if it is always being the dream of that man to be a politician when he is ready, and when he met the woman, he told the woman about it, and the woman was kool with it with the mind that she will be able to change his mind as time goes on without informing the man, and now the man is ready to get into politics, and the woman is now fuzzing up, and now telling the man to chose btw her and politics, what should such man chose? would it be fair for the man to kill his dream for the woman?
Will it be fair for such man to chose his marriage and kill his dream?

2. IF the woman wants the man not to join politics for her own personal reason, like "he will always be away", "senator's are dog" are those enough reason for a man to chose his marriage over the politics?

3. If the woman is afraid of the unknown, would it be fair for the man to let go of his dream?

Please discuss.
