The problems we have in Nigeria today is the church. sorry to say this. The church is not united, the so called christians are the ones on power yet Nigeria is still under this punishment. Every church wants to stand on it own, every churcxh has it's own university, every church wants a big name foer their overseer, every church competes for best in the ministry, the y advertise their prograames on TV, presents deliverance service on TVs. All these are vanity. If the church in Nigeria worships God in spirit and in Truth and in one accord just like the days of the apostles. I bet our country will be ruled by one force and not uncountable forces like we have today. Everyone claims he/she is called by GOD, but instead of using th at gift to add to the growth of the church they already are, they'll go opening their own ministry. The church is now like a business vent ure, Tithes and offerings has lost its real purpose and meaning. The richest of Nigerians are the pat ors, everyone wants to go into the ministry. to be continued. . . |

Re: What Good Has Xtianity Brought To Nigeria by Ben13: 12:07pm On Jul 21, 2009 |
. . . . . check out the PFN, penticostal fellowship of Nigeria. they only accept some churches to be their member. Is that umity? Talking about Yar'adua being a christain. . .you think it's only Yaradua that's on power. right? then you don't really know what power is. One Overseer of one of the churches in Nigeria can speak a word to the government and they will obey, their churches are where these people worships infact they have special seats for them. But instead of these pastors to say the truth, they'll cover it because of the offerings and donations gotten fromk them (corruption started in the church). As I said, sorry to say this. If the church realise this and work on it. In no time, Nigeria will be great. |
