I have been active since the inception of nairaland as a guest and later registered several months later and saw lots of inteligent post then and several of mine made front page back then like the genotype compatibility question etc, Nairaland has become the indispensable platform that people of diverse background visit, but of late i have been highly disapointed with the kinds of topics that makes front page and the kinds of mods seun has of late, something has to be done or nairaland might either turn to a place for untrained and illmannered kids to exhibit their juvenile deliquencies or just a platform for insults between the 2 main political parties, Seun and the veteran mods should take note because competition is getting stiff and the inteligent/educative/informative topics are the most valuable assets you have, do not chase such people out of nairaland.

For those who love to know about anything,signup on quora.com...quora is more addictive than any other site to me,quora is not that popular because it's not a social network,and you don't get to see kids there because the kids here in nairaland cannot give a detailed and convincing answer on quora.I bet explorers gets most of the infos he uses to create threads on quora.Even Seun is on quora,ask him to know what you guys a missing,he's not always online here cos he's glued on quora.

Nairaland gave me an outlet, for picking e-fights and out of boredom. I luv mind games and written battles, though not averse to d physical thing!

Nairaland has made me more Politically savvy! I'm always up to date with current affairs and information. I even bring my husband up to date with happenings all over the world and the country.

I'm like his information and foreign affairs minister cause I supply him a lot of information and it in turn keeps him up to date when talking with his colleagues. If he wants to know something, he asks me if I've heard, and thanks to Nairaland, I have usually heard.

We are consistently debating on political topics in the house and it's so much fun, so Nairaland has probably impacted my marital life also, lol.

Nairaland has introduced me to thousand of fans who love and follow my stories, hence making an amateur writer more confident and mildly popular and relevant.

Wish more could be done for the lit. Section but Nairaland is still awesome anyways.

Nairaland has given me a chance to spend less buying papers in order to read news because all breaking news are here which makes me enlightened.


It has shown me the wickedness of the heart of man when religeon and ethnicity is involved.


It has given me that sense of belonging and allowed me to meet wonderful people.


It has made me to love Islam as a religion. *winks*


I now respect and love other tribes in Nigeria.

Thx op, am now a professional farm instead of been jobless thx to nairalanders for the inspiration and intimidating success stories plus motivations.

Nairaland is my home for information,entertainment and education. Surely,I am more current than my pairs courtesy Nairaland. It has brought out the best of Nigeria in me. I made a post that Seun Osewa deserves National Award for creating such a Forum that has helped Nigerians bring out the Nigerian content in them,helping the jobless find jobs,creating business opportunities,educating people,helping the less privileged find treatment from philantropists and donors,...I can go on and on..
Nairaland is so unique it can't be swept under the carpet!
