New tactic: This people are mainly found in market with their bus fill with electronics. They have ID Card, they gonna tell you that the name of their company visibly correspond on their ID Card, and present a paper to you with numbers for you to select randomly and if you guess the number correctly that correspond with the hiden number then you win, they gonna give you an electronic and give you a discount of 70 percent. If you give the money they gonna deny you the number and show you is a wrong number, if you try to argue with them then hudlump known as area boys will beat you and send you away, you definitely can't stand them because they are in group and organised. And if you don't pay the money for the electronic they will tell you that you have to pay for the paper raffle. Am a witness. They have a mopol in uniform standing there. We have them in Eko idumota, Pen cinema Agege, Ogba, Abule egba and many more. Beware ! |

Everybody is greedy. The extent to which we are successful in keeping it under control is what what differs from one individual to another. That being said, the fact that the victims were greedy doesn't mean we should allow criminals the license to operate freely in the market places. It's an old scam actually. They were running that scam at Yaba as far back as 2005, sturdy Ibo men roaming about the market in sleeveless vests with their muscles popping out, they would invite you to come pick a lucky number & win one of the numerous expensive mobile phones they carried about in a sack. You had to pay a premium for the privilege, and of course you always picked the wrong number  |
