Incase you dont know, d word 'pray' simply means to make a request, to ask, there is nothing sinful or wrong in making a request to someone.

the bible passage that confirms the honouring of mary is luke 1:48b "for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed"

Go and read about the Mary , you people pray to. The Biblical Mary was a horrible sinner (James 2:10), who needed a Savior (Luke 1:47), and told others to do what Jesus commanded (John 2:5). The Biblical Mary was not a Perpetual Virgin (Matthew 13:55-56), was not Immaculately Conceived (Romans 3:23), wasn't Bodily Assumed into Heaven (Hebrews 9:27), and she doesn't intercede on our behalf (1st Timothy 2:5... "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"wink. The Blessed Virgin Mary of the Catholic religion is straight from Hell. Oh! Listen my friend, the Catholic Church is a prisonhouse of religion! Catholics have churchianity without Christianity, and religion without truth. From the cradle to the casket, the Catholic Church offers people a package deal; but it's a guaranteed road straight into the depths of Hellfire and damnation. In Luke 17:21, Jesus stated that the Kingdom of God is within you; not within a religious organization. Many people want an organized religion that allows them to touch, taste, see, and feel what they're trusting in for eternal life. However, true salvation, which is obtained only by faith in Christ Jesus, is of the heart (Romans 10:10).

Applying your logic to this Bible verses.

Exodus 20:12King James Version (KJV).

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy
days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Deuteronomy 5:16New King James
Version (NKJV).

‘Honor your father and your mother, as the
Lord your God has commanded you, that your
days may be long, and that it may be well with
you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Exodus 7:1King James Version (KJV).

And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have
made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy
brother shall be thy prophet.

Applying your Logic .means we also need to pray to our parents. becos this Bible verses also talks about us honouring our parents.
So the question is , why are you not praying to your parents.

The second verse Exdous7:1
God told Moses that he has made him a god unto Pharaoh. So why don't you Catholic people also ,pray to Moses who God made a god ,against Pharaoh

pray simply mean to request, I pray to my parents
Catholics pray to both Moses and Abraham

And you feel .you people are right?
John 14:6 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Timothy 2:5 .(KJV)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory
will I not give to another, neither my praise to
graven images.

Luke 11:2
And he said unto them, When you pray, say, Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be your name.Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

All this Bible verses Confirm that only Jesus is our mediator .and our only means to reach God.

The other Verse talks about God not sharing his glory with any gods .so praying to mary Abraham,Moses are all wrong . it is not written in the Bible.

In our Lords prayer taught by Jesus . he never instructed us to pray to any man or Woman.
So why do you pray to them.
Remember Moses himself could not enter the promise land becos, God refused him entering
it. so he is a mere mortal. what do you expect moses to do with your pray.since his own request was not granted by God. mind you Moses and Abraham are dead and still in the grave. not in Heaven.

Don't confuse yourself. that verse is not reffering to the ten commandments .the law in that verse talks about that of the cremonial laws and Sacrificial laws which were shadows of things to come. and were nailed to the cross by the death of Jesus. they were added as a temporary means for the cleansing and purification of Sinners Colossians 2:17

But the ten commandements of God are eternal. they are God's moral laws. is like this.every country or organization has its set of laws and code of conduct. that also the function of the ten commandments.
God's judgement of Man is based on those Laws. they are God's standand.

Remember the first 4 laws of the commandments are laws about man's responsibility to God .Exdous20:1
So if the law, was done away with. are you now suggesting that we can now bow to other gods, use the name of God in vain,as well as commit murder, adultery,Fornications.
Since it means we are no long under the law.

Remember when John was shown vision of the end in the book of Revelation. He saw the
Ark of Covenants containing the Ten commandments. the old and new covenants
have an ark of the covenant, see Hebrews 9:4 and seen opened in the apocalypse on judgment day containing all of the Ten Commandments
(Revelation 11:18,19; 1.King8:9) and we are all to be judged by these Ten (James 2:8-1 )

Even David said this about God's law.
Psalm 119:98
Your commandments make me wiser than my
enemies, For they are ever mine.

Psalm 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the
soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Psalm 119:97

The Gospel according to Matthew was written by Matthew(a.k.a Levi), the tax collector whom Jesus called to be His disciple. The book of the Acts of the Apostles was written by Luke, who accompanied Paul on most of his missionary journeys.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Tim 3:16

You should read the Bible because it's GOD's word. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD." Matt. 4:4

Moreover, search and see that all the Bible foretold would happen at their due time has happened, is happening and will happen as it is recorded in the Bible.
The authors of the books cannot be found via sola scriptura but only known via church tradition.

2Tim 3:15 only refers to the OT scriptures known at the time. NT books hadn't been completed or confirmed as scripture.

How does one know the pure word of God without the Church to determine them?

In the beginning and indeed today (via sola scriptura ) were many competing writings and movements that all claim to be Christian yet teach things at odds with each other, how is that standard objectively determined in the absence of a teaching office?

Even if you refuse to believe that the Bible is GOD's inspired word, you will surely believe history's attestation to the correctness and truthfulness of the Bible.

The prophecies in the Bible about kingdoms and cities like Tyre, Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome have come to pass EXACTLY as it was fortold.

The first and 2nd destruction of Jerusalem happened as they were foretold in the Bible.

The massacre of millions of GOD's people by the catholic church in the dark ages was foretold by the Bible. The deposition of the pope in 1798 by Napoleon and his restoration to power was exactly foretold by the Bible.

The mark of the antichrist will soon be in full effect.

Plenty of reasons to trust the Bible as GOD's word.
I believe the bible contains the word of God as determined by the church.

I'd like to know where it was foretold that the Catholic Church will massacre millions of people and when this event supposedly occurred.

Napoleon in the Bible? !!

I laugh. U don't even finish the Bible chapter and you jumped into conclusion.

Romans 7-8
The Law and Sin
7 What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful?
Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have
known what sin was had it not been for the law.
For I would not have known what coveting really
was if the law had not said, “You shall not
covet.”[ b] 8 But sin, seizing the opportunity
afforded by the commandment, produced in me
every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin
was dead. 9 Once I was alive apart from the law;
but when the commandment came, sin sprang to
life and I died. 10 I found that the very
commandment that was intended to bring life
actually brought death. 11 For sin, seizing the
opportunity afforded by the commandment,
deceived me, and through the commandment put
me to death. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the
commandment is holy, righteous and good.
13 Did that which is good, then, become death to
me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin
might be recognized as sin, it used what is good
to bring about my death, so that through the
commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am
unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not
understand what I do. For what I want to do I do
not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I
do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17
As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is
sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself
does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature

You can see that Paul acknowleged the perfect nature of the law. he never discarded it.only the law can point one to his sin.

Let me ask U. if the ten laws were done away with. why do people who commit adultery, fornication, tell lies, use the name of God in vain, murder. e.t.c why are they regarded as sinners by God and the Church?

What was done away with was the veil covering the face of Moses. Symbolising that man now has access to the throne. that's glory of God through Jesus.
I will post a better explanation

This is the full explanation of your Bible verse.

The ministration of death [the Ten
Commandments points out sin; Romans 7:7, and
sin points to death; Romans 6:23] on stone was
Glorious and was NOT to be done away. It was the
glory on the face of Moses that was done away.
The King James Version is a little unclear in its
translation on this point. Observe just a few of
many translations below which are clearer.

AMP) “Now if the dispensation of death engraved
in letters on stone [the ministration of the Law],
was inaugurated with such glory and splendor
that the Israelites were not able to look steadily at
the face of Moses because of its brilliance, [a
glory] that was to fade and pass away.”
(ASV) “But if the ministration of death, written,
and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that
the children of Israel could not look stedfastly
upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face;
which glory was passing away.”
(NASB) “But if the ministry of death, in letters
engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the
sons of Israel could not look intently at the face
of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading
as it was.”
(NIV) “Now if the ministry that brought death,
which was engraved in letters on stone, came
with glory, so that the Israelites could not look
steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory,
fading though it was.”
(RSV) “Now if the dispensation of death, carved in
letters on stone, came with such splendor that
the Israelites could not look at Moses' face
because of its brightness, fading as this was.”
Moses was the minister of the Old Covenant.
He gave the people God's instructions on how to
keep the Ten Commandments law [detailed
requirements on what to do] and what to do when
it was broken [Priests and Sacrifices]. This
glorious system of ministration was done away
with, not the Ten Commandments. Christ
ministers the New Covenant. He gives people the
Spirit who gives people instructions on how to
keep the law [think it, not just do it] and what to
do if it is broken [genuinely repent and trust in
Christ to cover sin]. Under the New Covenant the
law is written in our hearts.
Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel after those
days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their
mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will
be to them a God, and they shall be to me a
people:”
To enable people to internalize His law, to love
it and obey it eagerly and willingly, God made
this promise. See also 2 Corinthians 3:3 in the
above passage in contention.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 “A new heart also will I give
you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I
will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will
put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk
in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments,
and do them.”
The subject is not the doing away with the law
or its establishment, but rather, the change of the
location of the law from “tables of stone” to the
“tables of the heart.” Under Moses' ministration
the law was on stones. Under the Holy Spirit's
ministration, through Christ, the law is written
upon the heart. Christ's ministration of the law is
effective because He transfers the law to the heart
of the Christian. Then keeping the law becomes a
delight and a joyful way of living because the
Christian has true love for both God and man.

the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much
more will what is permanent have glory.

Blueagent dralein 12: Wherefore the law is holy, and the
commandment holy, and just, and
good"
(Rom. 7). Notwithstanding dis statement affirming
d goodness of d Law, Paul continued
2 state just a short while later in romans
d following: "3: For what the law could not do, in that
it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin
in the flesh"
(Rom. cool.

d law was good nd holy nd even just, bt is was also weak, it couldnt condem sin in d flesh and cause rightousnes. it became a curse to all under it
"10: For as many as are of the works of
the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are
written in the book of the law to do them.
11:But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12: And the law is not of faith: but, The man thatdoeth them shall live in them.

The law only made everyone guilty under a curse and under God's wrath until d saviour will come.
Christ came and removed us from under d tutor (d law), and its curse and to justify us before God.
12: And the
law is not of faith: but, The man that
doeth them shall live in them. 13: Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the
law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that
hangeth on a tree"
"25: But after that faith is come, we are
no longer under a schoolmaster. 26: For
ye are all the children of God by faith in
Christ Jesus.

(Gal. 3)
d laws glory has now been surpassed, it nolonger glorious
10 Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much
more will what is permanent have glory.

Ephesians 2:15 New International Version by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,
New Living Translation He did this by ending the system of law with its
commandments and regulations. He made
peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.

Jesus hads ended d system of d law with its commandments and ordinance.

Stop confusing yourself. Galatians 3:19 talks about the sacrificial laws or Ordinances not God's moral law. they were added becos of sin.
By law no man can please God. it only takes faith in Jesus for one to obey God's law.
The law could only point out our sins but it had no power to save. but through JESUS all those who believe can live and depend on christ for the grace to please God. not trying to please God by their own ability.

I laugh at U. what Jesus ended was the system of sacrifical offering for sin. not God's moral law the ten commandments.get it.
If Jesus destoryed the law. why did he now instruct us to obey and teach the law? why did he even magnify the law by making it more Sacred? why did Jesus say a single dot or T shall not be removed from the law .except heaven and earth pass away.

So what did the Old Testament prophets say
Jesus would do? Isaiah 42:21 “The LORD is
well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he
will MAGNIFY the law, and make it
HONOURABLE.”

I asked u just one question please answer.
what is the ministry of death carved in stone?
is it not the 10 commandments?
this is to see if u are even sincere

commandments?
(ASV) “But if the ministration of death, written,
and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that
the children of Israel could not look stedfastly
upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face;
which glory was passing away.”

Continue fooling yourself and end in Hellfire.
Since you know you have no arguement you just keeping overlooking the facts.

Bible translation have Shown that it was not what was written on the stone that was done away with. but the glory on the face of Moses. I was not the one who translated those Bible verses. You can google them or get any bible which is not KJV . for you to understand the verse properly. what is their U don't understand?

Going to Heaven is not about religeon but what the Word of God Says. its not about what the whole world believes.

The entire Christedom have been corrupted with Bible verses misinterpreted.

I urge you to do research on your Church their believes and how it contradicts Bible verses.
