If they were trying to avenge the perceived neglect of Niger Delta why did they have to wait till now? Till Buhari became president? Would they have started their nefarious activities if Jonathan had won?

For me, the relationship between the so-called NDA and Kanu's IPOB is unitary. The timing is too obvious and their agenda has added weight to my suspicion.

I have interacted with quite a number of persons from my Niger Delta and no one has spoken anything positive about them. The only people that keep cheering them on, both offline and online, are IPOB sympathizers. Don't be surprised if it is later discovered that NDA is an IPOB sponsored group.

I join the call for all comments and or posts praising or encouraging the activities of NDA on Nairaland to be seriously censored.

Niger Deltans are not in support of NDA. They came from without to create chaos in our region. We are not interested in secession and we believe the unity of this country is nonnegotiable.

I just couldn't help but laugh it out loud, when I saw a news of Niger Delta avengers calling for a sovereign state. This is a region where selfishness is on the high side, political office holders in this region are nothing but thief, was surprised to see what a mere commissioner own in one of their state during my service, a governor in South East of North won't have such landed properties . Sovereign state will just make the masses poorer and make the political office holder richer, because selfishness runs in your blood, if it was possible to deny they didn't receive any allocation from d federal, they will do so, just because they don't wanna pay salaries of workers, Niger delta avengers are not avenging for anything but their selfish interest.
