I'm always astonished to see this kind of vitriol from Nigerians (or really Africans) in general towards African Americans and vice-versa. Perhaps I take the jabs from both sides personally, since I strongly identify with both sides of my family.

Bigoted remarks always diminishes the issuer regardless of your reasons or motivations in stating them.

And someone says that Nigerians never unite. Piss one of us of and see if you won't be bomb blasted.

I know this post must be old by now, but david all that shit u said is not true and is not fair. the girl came in there to get advice, another black chick said something that u didnt agree with and now u have the guts to insult all african americans. Hey. well now guess what then, if we are all that u say we came from africa just like u. your relatives were put on the ship too so i guess all that bull shit u are talking was passed down from u guys. Secondly, if you usually dont always offer your help to do anything. They will most likely decline because you are a visitor but offer it. help with the kids, food anything.

Third, have fun, I had a blast and 2 halves. I love my in-laws they are the sweetest most loving people I have met.
