I just discovered this evening that facebook has included HAUSA into their language option database.

This is not just the beginning, BBC, RFI, VOA, all broadcasting in Hausa

What does this imply?does it mean hausa is the most famous language in nigeria or what?we have bbc hause,why dnt we have bbc yoruba and ibo?any ans pls

Comprehension is the problem.
Core northern states have a predominant population whose official language is Hausa hence the need for bbc, voa, and Facebook to translate the Nigerian official language to Northern Nigeria official language.

Summarily inability of the majority of the population to read and write in English is the reason
