Pastor goofed! Duration of prayers does not have anything to do with inner beauty which the scripture clearly says. One can pray for hours but lacks all qualities of been a wife material.
Beards have no link with pastoral duties as almost all old testament prohets such as Jeremiah, Isaiah, John the Baptist, etc and even Jesus had beards. Beards are natural and normal with old ages in males!
