I don't attend redeem but i see a lot on inspiration in what the man in saying ...yet again i repeat read between the lines

Its not only about beard it about appearance and presentation. The man might have mentioned beards but in essence, what he was saying is that as pastors and church leaders and infact all Christians, in your appearance, try to look decent cause you are suppose to be a role model.

Same about praying for an hour and marrying in the church ...He doesn't mean those literately either he is only suggesting that you marry someone that doesn't think praying (TALKING TO GOD) is boring or should be short.

Also about marrying in the church, the clause after was that it will be easier if you share similar beliefs.

You ppl need to contextualize things and understand the reasoning behind it.

If Adeboye truly said all these, I suspect two things. 1.may be Old age is d reason. 2. May be d spirit of God has left him as he is more of a political pastor now than a spiritual pastor.Beard, marriage outside Rccg, prayer for one hour. These are not words of encouragement at all, God help us.

Read my post again and follow the logic. I did not say Jesus is a fiction of any one's imagination. I said that no one knows what he looks like and if you don't know what he looks like, how do you know he has a beard? The postulation of what he looks like is fiction.
