I always wonder, are there people in this world who feels joy whenever they are in the kitchen or is just a necessity for us to go into the kitchen?
as for me the latter is the case. oh! how I hate cooking most especially when the whether is hot.

BUT
the question is must a woman know how to cook? must she be that perfect chef, whom people should bite their tongue at the taste of her food?

your answer should be with reasonable reasons

I often heard this phrase that 'another woman will snatch your husband if you don't know how to cook' like uuhhh? Is food the essence of our living?

Shouldn't it be a thing of choice?

My own opinion?
she must not know how to cook
If your wife/girlfriend cannot cook, I don't think its a sin for you to teach her or better still do the cookings yourself.

A guy was telling me one day that, a girl visited him, he asked her to boil yam and do egg sauce.
She peeled the yam and cut it in a round shape, first mistake.
then the sauce was watery and salty.
he said when she left he never called her again. that he can't marry such a woman.
I was confused, cutting yam in a round has become not knowing how to Cook
sauce was salty, yeah! its a mistake and could happen to anyone
even professional cooks makes such mistakes

you named yourself African apple, yet you hate cooking.
Now tell me, whats African about you?
Is it your skin or your blood?
Let me tell you all the truth, "cooking" is what defines a lady, its in our culture, as an African woman, it is your right to embrace your culture, and cooking is part of it.
We have eguisi soup, banga soup, vegetable soup, jollof rice.
meals like this are what makes you to be a unique African woman.
It is very compulsory to know how to cook.
oh!! that sweet feelings your hubby gets when he tasted your meals is way different from the feelings he got when he ate at an eatery.
And by the way, if our mothers were so lazy in the olden days when there were no restaurants, those days when they had to take their time to cook for our fore fathers, if they were lazy then, im not sure we will be here today, because those meals they cooked as a responsible family women, wanting to take care of their families, are reasons why our dads grew up to be very strong, to study and work, and that is why we are here today.
you will be doing yourself and the future family of your daughters, if you install the cooking culture as a responsibility to them at a young age, but it begins with you.

You ladies should not deceive yourselves...a woman should know how to cook for her man/husband.

Forget all those sexy curves, ass, boobs and whatever. If you have all those things and yet ur husband go to eat in restaurants before coming home every night because all you can cook is indomie... Then u are fast loosing him!

#Listen, if you like....

Don't even use our mothers, because most were stay-at-home mum, full housewives. but now women work and also bring money to the family.

the both of us goes to work and we are both tired, then we have to share the responsibility.

Plus, i said I hate cooking, I didn't say I don't know how to Cook. difference

African women are sexuàlly limited by default... save for the few who work towards improving that aspect of their lives.

Girl wey no know how to fück,and her jollof game com weak is bound to spend her miserable life alone.
Make she just try make money, then turn to sugar mummy for dem fuckboys. that's her only way out.

I will come and call you

not knowing how to cook doesn't mean you will never cook, like I said, its a necessity. and I believe there other options when you don't feel like it.

can't imagine entering the kitchen, morning afternoon, night because of food

Lol so you are using work as an excuse.
let me tell you something about marriage.
marriage is not something you go into if you are not ready to make sacrifices for your family.
fine the both of you are working, but its your marital responsibility to close early and make sure that you prepare meal for your husband and children.
By the way, Who told you our mothers sit at home all day?
Do you know how hard they had to work, go to the farm and toll for hours, go to the village markets to sell for hours, yet they had to make sure that their families are well fed.
In truth, he should know how to cook but its not your hubby's duty to start cooking for the family on daily basics.
he can help out at times, that fine.
I think the problem with ladies like you is westernization and feminism but need i remind you that few days earlier "RIHANA was videod in the kitchen cooking for her family.

This shouldn't be a question in the first place. It's a must for a woman to know how to cook. It's part of what defines you and also part of your glory as a woman.
