And as for my SE brothers, listen, "if you can't beat them, you join them". A word is enough ooooo
And who told you u can't beat them. that u failed the 1st time or the 8th time don't mean a thing, if u continue maybe the 9th time or even the 20th time if u don't give up one day u will beat them, Buhari tried 4 times before beating them, the guy that discovered electric bulb tried a thousand times. there is no such thing as "a lost battle". if u don't give up. That's cowardice if u don't know

Osu how I wish you know the meaning of betrayal!

In case you were not born yet then. Ask your elders.

Did you know that Awo was set to be president using the NASS vote system (if the presidential election result gives no clear winner) that was the law/act governing election in 1979?

Did your elders tell you how OBJ scrapped that electoral act post election and made another law retro-active?
If that is not betrayal of Awo, then betrayal must be part of your life that such is normal.

Most of you guys are babies just making noise online because you have a few mb to burn.

Educate yourself before you come online to show ignorance.

In your bigoted mind, anyone who says how it is is from across the Niger. Pathetic.

hmmm, my broda, i just wish the whole Nigerian yorubas will leave this country for them. Its really tough living in-the-middle of two enemies. Any action/move is misinterpreted wrongly by the losing end

Yes o, if a man is raping your wife and he seems stronger than you, just join him to hold your wife's legs. Don't even try to fight "a lost battle". That's cowardice if u don't know
....and since you've been fighting not to have your wife raped, how many of those battles have you won?

To be honest, the fight for independence for my SE brothers should begin rigorously with them. Not only the few struggling and fighting a battle they cannot win. Let them pick a capital and start building all their business entity and diverting all other business there. You can't have all your structure business in other state and be fighting for freedom on their soil. My thought though.

Lool.

Amala people just stay getting dragged by the ragheads. This is what you get when you're perpetual serfs to uneducated folks.

And the poster who said OBJ betrayed Awo never told a lie. Abiola or whatever the fvck the name of that fat fvck is also betrayed Awo. That's the bane of Amala people - betrayal. Yoruba people are very cunning and pretentious. I abhor the snakey trait, hence in my personal life, I don't really mess with that many Yoruba people.

We Yoruba people will always do what is right for Nigeria, even if others don't. We will not stop canvassing for fiscal restructuring because that was the foundation upon which Nigeria was laid at independence until some people with ulterior motives destroyed it.

We call Northerners Dullards but they are wiser than Southerners. We divide ourselves N join them, then they take advantage of our divisions and milk Us. Enough of Tribalism let's come as One South and restructure Nigeria. The Northerners have fooled us enough

Yakassai should not take our desire and effort at keeping the nation together for granted by making statements that is capable of tearing the nation apart.

If we Yoruba people decides today that we are quiting this federation , the north knows that they cannot do anything about it.

Oh, shut up about fighting for what's right for a dead country.

You had the party structure of a bigger party that merged with a smaller party and acted as the face of the new party. However, rather than put ya feet down in the partnership and demand equal control - you got punked by those who came into the coalition as junior partners. As if that isn't enough - it's one story of betrayal after the another. You lot are a disgrace and the idiotic eye service and cunning ways masked as sophistication is ya downfall. And it keeps happening over and over again.

Better learn from the mistakes of these clowns running around as Yoruba leaders cos it's obvious these useful idiots didn't learn anything from their predecessors.

“from Action Group to UPN, to NADECO to PRONACO and probably to MONACO cheesy

Yorubas are being cut to size again by their masters.

Tinubu should better watch it else his hairy arsss will be bungled into kirikiri like a bale of okrika.

They did it to Awolowo and MKO....

I wonder when Afonjas will have common sense.

Awolowo fought, or pretended to fight, for regional autonomy. When the time came to get it (Aburi Accord), Awolowo joined Tanko Yakassai and his Caliphate to smother the opportunity, happily killing more than 2 million people to perpetuate the system he claimed to be fighting against.
Tinubu fought, or pretended to fight, for regional autonomy all the years gone by. When the time came to get it (National Conference), Tinubu joined Buhari and the Caliphate to sabotage it.

Today, Tinubu has openly disowned the agitation for regional autonomy. Do you see a similar pattern here between Awolowo`s and Tinubu`s actions?
Who is deceiving whom? They don`t mean what they say and they don`t say what they mean!
thanks a lot for being open with the truth

What is your problem with Yoruba people. We don't need your counsel. Keep it to your self.

All the nations of the world are looking forward to the day Nigeria will cease to be a nation, because they feel threatened by our unity, unfortunately northerners like Yakassai and some easterners are myopically working to grant them their desires. We will not let that happen.

We will continue to do what is right to keep the nation together. No amount of betrayals to us by any ethnic group will stop us from living out our conscience angry

My problem with Yoruba people is the cunning/snakey amala eaters within the group who're mostly enemies within and a curse to Yoruba people all over the globe. The earlier they purge these fvckers and start a new re-orientation for those who can be saved - the better for everyone.

Where the fvck is the unity when the most backward part of country always want to have the final say over every issue and they stay punking the so-called "educated" ones cos you and your ilk love the space you're domiciled in perpetual servitude? Unity has to be about equal footing in partnership - with no side having dominion over the other. Once you stay getting punked - that's no partnership, it's an overlord/serf relationship. And with that, there can't be unity.

Oh, shut up! Yorubas are the ones betraying one another. From Afronja, to Ilorin, to Akintola, to OBJ/Abiola, to OBJ again, to Tinubu, and now to Tinubu's boys betraying him. Can you see the vicious cycle? That tells you a story.
