Sirnonye: Does he actually knows what it'll take to be included among the top 1,000 talk more of top 100? Or he thinks the likes of ARWU, QS rankings and THE can be compared to webometrics? You want a Nigerian school to be among the best schools when she cannot provide uninterrupted power supply to support a biomedical experiment that requires a - 80 degree Celsius freezer? |

hos4x: Exactly! As a matter of fact, must everyone be in a university? Aren't there other schools that could train these young people in some technical skills? We need to grow our economy by getting more people provide more diversified skills and services. Do we want to keep herding everyone into universities and then worrying about the millions who will graduate with certificates that can't get them jobs? Let's do the right thing. Cheers! |
