Don't too worry, your payment will be confirmed. Just give the receiver enough time...he/she also has 48hours to confirm payment. After 48hours CRO will intervene when the half filled Blue mark turns Yellow question mark.
I have a case like this right now.it's been over a week since I uploaded evidence of payment and the receiver is yet to confirm. I tried calling but each time I call another person picks and promise to relay the message to him. The Yellow question mark has been there for 5 days now.Every other receiver has confirmed except this particular guy.Unfortunately, his guider is not also picking his calls.

It will be really good for the system if truly the CRO intervenes after 48 hours but that has not been my experience. How else can I aggressively resolve this ?

Put ur mind at rest. My DL had similar case it was just resolved yesterday by the CRO.
If you did cash deposit, upload the teller in the message box and write few words that the receiver refused to confirm. Also click on support select "Receiver of funds didn't confirm as the topic, (it should be the second type not the first) put the Provide help order no (starts with R343555....) also your account ID( click on account on your dashboard, the digits before your account no starts with A3878..) upload your payment teller too write brief words that the recipient refused to confirm you.
The Cro will cross check and do the confirmation.
If you did transfer through ATM or on ur mobile bank app, get your stamped bank statement showing the amount paid to the recipient, circle it snap and upload it.

You've done the right thing. don't worry, they will attend to you. You can drop a reminder beneath the support ticket you created.
You won't lose your money but time.
