The bolded is wrong.
There is a difference between USim and 'normal' sim.
You need a Usim to access UMTS (3G) video call and LTE services.
Also there's also ISIM that you can use to access IMS VoLTE.

I agree with the other parts of your post, I just wanted to correct the bolded part.
Cheers.
thanks

It is not possible. The technology of 4G is higher than that of 3G. And for those we make calls on MTN, Etisalat and Glo using 4G SIMs on 3G phones, they are making the normal calls not 4G-enabled call like ntel that offers VoLTE, which is 4G, super clear voice calls

You ended up confusing the OP.

The OP wants to know if it's possible to use a 4G enabled sim in a 3G device.

Well, it depends on the Telco. If the Telco is one that supports 2G or 3G, like MTN or Glo, for instance, then yes, the sim would work on a 3G device, albeit only being able to use 3G and 2G service.

But sims from telcos like Swift, ntel, Spectranet, Cyberspace or Smile, on the other hand, would only work on 4G devices, since they only support 4G.
