There are extremely wicked people in my village.
I know its a common thing, but maybe mine is exceptional.

You dare not, i repeat DARE NOT prosper in my village, cos it could cost you your sanity, or/and your life.
The 'technique' being employed now is, if you decide to come home, you have to cut the figure of someone who is extremely wretched, and should have tales of WOE to back it up.
Then and only then will you be spared. Unbelievable, but true

i've heard all kinds of crazy stuff about my dad's place- i won't say the name but its in anambra.

the village is said to be sacrificed to an idol god and any woman who marries a man from this village is said to be "the wife of this god."
i won't mention the god's name.


they said during biafra war, the villagers inflicted the nigerian soldiers with diseases and madness. and they say the villagers created a spiritual fence around the town so, the bullets from nigerian soldiers reverted back to them.


the village is along the river and it's said that water spirits, roam the town, protecting the people.

I love my village, I love my state. I love everything about it.
But I have to admit, a lot of evil and juju dey. You cant trust anyone.
Advise: Know who you abuse or you'll find your blindness the next morning.
But where is there no evil and deceit? Its an humane trait. . . .

Lol @ the word "village". These days even the smallest hamlets of those days have turned to towns and local government areas (LGAs) . But seriously when I was a lil chile , our Yoruba driver was thinking of plucking some fruit from a neighbour's tree- my dad jokingly warned him that if he tried it they would like, grow to elephantine proportions . Trust me, the guy ran from the tree. No one messes with other people's fruit trees in my "village" .

Well, I know juju/voodoo occurs but I haven't experienced it first hand. There's this lady who lives adjacent to our house back home. She's rumored to have killed all her sons and husband, she lives by herself. The scariest thing about her is she mutters incoherent stuff to herself. Creeps me out!!

Don't worry, when naija becomes developed all this things would fade away. When the LGA chairmen and permanent secetary starts providing electricity and bringing industries to this villages people would not fear juju, they would run back home because multi national corporations no send shrine or babalawo house, them go just demolish all of them to build highways or factories.
