Even as this bible passage is so common among individuals, yet dy don't understand d message in d passage.

it says: "For God so love d world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

Firstly,
God loves dse world making God loves us, that he gave us his son; he surrendered his all for us, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish meaning all you ve to do to ve eternal life is believing in Christ.

Our Eternity is secured once we BELIEVE in him

That is why is called the good news because it is too good to be true.

It is not baptism dat will save u
it is not restitution dat will save u
it is not righteous living by works dat will save u

It is only believing in d burial , death and ressurection of Christ that saves.

I think that should be the basis and not all that is required
