So on Monday morning you expected me to ware buba, sokoto and agbada plus gbekele mess cap to office Abi?
So with the heat and recession, tying your neck with that hangman's noose you call tie, plus your singlet, shirt, monkey-jacket and COAT on a sunny Monday is what you prefer.

KOLO MENTAL!

This is so nice. I remembered when I visited India from most of d airport top staff, to d hotel and hospital staff all rock their Indian native attire. This is not about wearing buba or agbada . there are decent native like senator for men and other nice ones for ladies. We have many natives that we wear and look smart. Some nurses and doctors clothes look like native sometimes and they work freely with the m

How can one wear a native attire on a Monday when most banks, companies already have their customized ties, scarfs and dress codes for their staff to open the week with ?..

Nice idea though but it should be on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Next: The implementation of the second stanza of the national anthem as a replacement for the first stanza as I proposed years back .. if you watch Big Brother, you'll agree with me cool
It should be on Mondays, especially.
That is why anytime I fill any form in the hands of Nigerians, and write my Native name in the space for first name, when the documents come out, the stupid Nigerians always replace my first name with my English name thinking it was a mistake.

Do we also know that native wears are mostly complemented with *palm slippers and sandals ..

How do you wear *slippers on a Monday morning

My dear, in a Tropical/hot climate, which is more comfortable to wear? is it a court shoe with socks or a sandals/palm slippers? I believe the more comfortable you are, the more productive you become.

I will be happy if the law can be implemented, I'm tired of wearing ties to my place of work everyday. Some don't even have the opportunities of wearing native dresses even on weekends because their churches don't allow their pastors and workers to wear it. How then can we promote our own dresses? Am I a white man ?

We can as well wear native from Monday thru Friday .. Monday is not a day like Friday because most organizations already adopted casual dressings and native wears on friday.

Monday is pure official and even the president should be made to wear suit on Mondays.
Lol..Monday is pure official? Because it is the first day at work for the week or what? Now tell me how Monday is more official than Tuesday and any other working day. You do what you do in your office Monday through Friday so what exactly makes Monday more official?
