Rita wore her sandals hurriedly, she had been feeling restless ever since Tunde left. She knew she didn't do the right thing by turning him down at the last minute. She rubbed her palms against one another, sighed heavily and walked out of her flat, shutting the door firmly and locking it. She walked briskly to her car, got in and drove off. Her mind began some calculations, he might not go to some far away club, she had seen his distressed look when she turned him down. He might not want to drive a long distance. She gripped the wheel tighter and stepped on the accelerator increasing her speed to an 80km/hr. She knew the nearest club to her neighbourhood was a good 50 minutes drive. She smiled at the tarred road spread before her and accelerated some more. What was the use of a good road if it can't be raced upon? She was now on 110km/hr. She could still manage the speed in fact it was no speed. Adrenaline pumped through her veins, she loved doing this. Few moments later, she saw the club and drove into its parking space. It was quite a big club, probably one of the most expensive in the area. She walked in and saw him dancing with a girl. She smiled, honestly they looked good together. She wasn't going to ruin his moment so she turned back intending to back home. She turned and bumped into a person. She looked up and was shocked. He looked down at her and smirked. Her brain flew in different directions. She turned to her left and almost screamed. Her brain began overheating. 'Is he two?'. Slowly she understood. He was a twin. 'So who is Mark now?' The one to her left also smirked. Gawd! they were so identical. 'Who did she see at the restaurant, and was at the cemetery, was it the same person or not?' She groaned within her. 'oh God, why did you create twins?' She hoped they wouldn't recognise her. It was important that they don't. She finally found her voice;
"Sorry, I was just about leaving."
She moved to her right and walked out.

Tunde looked towards the entrance and saw the back view of a lady which looked so much like Rita's. He looked at her hair and saw the exact hairstyle Rita had on. 'Did she come looking for him? Who were those guys? Were they harassing her?' He knew standing there wasn't going to answer his questions. He pulled away from the lady he was dancing with, staggered a little and walked towards her. He hadn't taken two steps when she walked away from the guys.

She wondered why he pulled away from her. She turned to look in the direction he was going and she saw them. 'Shit, what were they doing here?'

Richard turned to look at the dance floor. He saw a staggering dude leave a lady and walk towards them. He turned to look at the lady's face. He raised his eye-brow, 'Sophia'.

Mark saw Sophia looking at them weirdly. He turned to Richard and saw him looking at her too. He chuckled, this was a pretty intense moment. His thoughts went to the lady that bumped into him. 'Rita'. He had recognized her immediately. She was also the one he saw at the cemetery. So it wasn't deja vu after all. He saw the guy advancing towards them. He had seen him watching Rita before she left. Soon enough he got to them.
"Who are you?" He asked.

As Tunde got closer, he recognized the guy at the restaurant. Oh, okay scrap that, they were two standing before him, so he didn't know who was who. But all the same he needed to know them.
"Who are you?" He asked.

'Dumbest question ever'. Richard looked him over. He looked thoroughly wasted. "What business do we have with you?" He asked. Richie was pissed, how can you just walk up to someone and ask a stupid question? "In case you don't know, your lady is waiting for you." He looked up and met Sophia's gaze. He turned to Mark; "This place just got crappy, i'm out."

"I'm Mark, he is Richard. Good-bye." Mark turned and followed after his brother.

He watched both of them walk out on him and concluded he didn't like them.

'What was Richard going to think of her now? Did he even care? Was he angry? He wouldn't cut ties with her or would he?' She bowed her head and allowed her thoughts consume her.

She leaned against the wall outside the club, she had been there for a couple of minutes. She remembered how she felt when she looked into his eyes, she didn't feel that way when she did the same for the one on her left. The one she bumped into, was he Mark? She remembered his eyes, yes his eyes, they were grey, YES, Mark's eyes were grey, his twin's was brown. It was Mark then. It was Mark she bumped into. How convenient! She straightened up and walked to her car.

"She is the one I saw at the restaurant." Richie said.
"She was my junior in High school."Mark responded.
They turned to look at each other, turned back to watch her enter her car, and back at each other again. They both smiled.
Richie whistled softly; "That ass tho."
Mark smacked his head playfully.
"Ouch, it's the truth."
Mark smiled; "Let's go."
Richard smiled knowingly, they had done this before. They had a mission and that mission was to pursue. They got into their car, Mark handling the wheel. He started the car, stepped on the accelerator repeatedly to power the engine, he moved the gear controller to drive, and pulled out of the parking lot. They were going to follow her to her very doorstep.

I hope there are no typos cos I couldn't edit. No patience for editing, man must eat. Good morning everybody.

Sophia's POV
she just couldnt fathom what just happened, she is confused and devastated at the same time. she held her head and rubbed it in an attempt to soothe the sudden headache she is having. oh God, why today, why wont he tell her they were clubbing today she thought. Richard is just a bastard, she cursed. And that young man she was dancing with, she can not just loose him like that, no way, she wont loose all ends. It is a 50 50 chance she is going to end up being Richards wife, and now the percent just narrowed down to 80 20 after tonight. Whp is that young lady? Damn many questions and not a single answer. Richard and his brother just got in the car, seems they are going after the lady, and tunde's look is saying the same thing, soon he will enter his car and follow the young lady. Well, she wont loose both ends, she is going as well.... She took off her high heels and staggers off to find her car.. 'Lord help me' she muttered, she really hope she will be able to drive in this condition...

'What a night' Tunde cursed aloud. many thinhs are going on in his mind, he hope not to go crazy. Rita! that little snitch, what is wrong with her, who does she think she is, first she wont follow him to the club and now showing up at the club and leaving in seeing him with the girl. Was it jealousy he saw in her eyes or? And the way she reacted with the twins, and the twins who are they,? Tunde had all these questions goi,g on without an answer and he could feel anger coupled with hatred for the twins, tbey caused this. Tunde could tell this isnt true but well he had to blame someone. Or, could it be that she followed them to the club and had to leave on seeing him. damn he needed answers and he will get it. Then he saw her, sophia, the girl he had been dancing with, he could feel his hard on again. she seems to be going home. Okay he concluded, answers can wait, he is definately going after sophia....

Madness. Why are they following her? It might better to ask herself, why is she running?

Mark, she was running from Mark. Why?

Mark and Rita are not meant to meet ever again. They are meant to keep their distances and this running was about, increasing the gap.

She stepped on. The car sped on. The poles danced past. With a bright grin, 'thank you daddy,' she said. The car was doing fine and the feeling of being a bird on wheels washed over her. She couldn't have afford the car herself. In the mirror, her pursuers were no where. She smiled again.

The night was quiet and the number of cars has decreased. The spacious road was enough to make a ostentious drive, sideways, forth and back. Sky was blue and the moon was useless in the sense of lighting — streets lights, houses, hotels and tall buildings were doing the job fine.

Suddenly, a car sped past her. And in the same manner screeched to a stop right before. 'Heavens!' Rita shouted stepping on the break. Her eyes flared. Her heart a thousand miles closing on hell and paradise. The car-tyres cried like a beast. In a moment marked with luck her car stopped before it crashed the bastard's bum.

The car drove off without saying, 'hi, sorry, I was drunk' And Rita cursed.

A car turned up beside her and she turned to see Mark smiling on her from the front seat.

He gulped down the beer and winced at the sharp burnt he felt, many thoughts raced his mind.Why? She had screamed at him and he kept wondering why, had she not recognized him?no that was not it,he remembered she yelled his name when telling him to get lost, she also kept yelling how it is his fault a Jossy died. Who is that anyway? He groaned when his brother came in, "still nursing your hurts? Poor Mark," Richard said and started laughing. "Shut up!" he scowled "turns out poor Mark has lost his charms, you should have let me handle that chick, I would have taught you a thing or two on how to make a damsel fall heels over head in love with you. " Mark hissed."Abeg let pesin hear word,you that Soph have got wrapped on her little finger,you think I didn't notice the look you had on when you saw her dancing with that dude?" Rich swore,"I don't give two shits about her,right now,I'm more interested in that damsel and since you blew our first chance,it's not too late to for me to ----" Mark cut him short quick,"Richy, I need you to stay off her." "And why should I do that? you are not going to be the only one to have a taste of that arse,hell no!" Mark explained calmly," listen bro,i already told you i knew her back in school and that surely was not the kind of welcome i was expecting,let me get close m her and find out what happened first then you can do as you wish."Richard was not pleased but reasoned that was the better way , if she was scared of Mark,then their identical looks won't help matters,let his twin sort himself out with her then he'll take over."Alright then but i've got my eyes on you." he threaten jokingly and walked off. Mark was relieved there was no agrument on that,he had to get answers first and something in him just want rich off Rita's back.

He glanced at his watch: half past 6. He had parked his car along the busy towards a mast waiting for the girl... stalking, actually.

He wasn't sure she would pass this route or even if she's at home. Or if she's left for work. He was a man of his time. Such liberty comes when one is an entreprenuer — a day for stalking. He watched the gate intermittently with his watch. The cars were passing, the street was awake though a bit of darkness still hung in air. The sun was hesitating, should I surface. He sighed. He has work to do and would like to see her. Maybe meet her again, to explain. This is morning he couldn't go towards that house.

That night they had drove after her and she, after saying things to the gateman drove in through the old and rust-painted gate. The stout gatekeeper dragged him out of the compound with indignation. Thanks, anyway, other times police would already be on his case, 'young man, why did you pursue a young lady?' Or the mob would turned him a charred meat.

The gate opened; the keeper was same. The car glide out; it headed forth and he followed behind.
