I want to believe this is the time to ACT as a COUNTRY. BARRACK OBAMA said no going back on their decision. This is the time we need to look inward and make this country great again. let our Leaders wake up and decry every form of selfishness and mass looting. Let them take this country to a greater height.

Americans said "For years, they have documented  evidence of  Al-Qaida attempting to recruit and gain foothold in Nigeria, and its security agencies  did nothing to confront the threat,” top  Homeland  Department officials stated.
There  has to be a visible and verifiable evidence that  Nigerian authorities are improving security and intelligence against not just terror groups, but also  extremists and  fundamentalists, especially in the  northern part of the country,” State Department officials stated.
“This is a security situation with the lives of Americans at risk. We are not prepared to  risk American lives  just to satisfy Nigerian officials”"

Americans are not prepared to RISK the lives of their citizens just to SATISFY Nigerians Officials.

This is a wake up call. Let us look inward and start doing the right thing.

When they put it like this it sheds a new light on the situation. Nigeria as a whole would be better off if our leaders paid more attention to fundamentalists and extremists in the north.
But it could just be divide and rule tactics, an after-thought.
