I never heard of that in my entire life, I'm also pretty sure u never seen either grin

U know like I know they'll think u saying the universe came from nothing as I defined it earlier.

the thing is that the word "Layman" doesn't belong there

when you tell a layman something came from nothing, what he thinks you mean is that it popped out of thin air, what then separates a layman from someone more knowledgeable about the subject is that the word "thin air" is part of the universe which is actually "something" and not "nothing" like the layman thought

my point still stands bro

No energy, no space, no sub-atomic particles, no quantum vacuum, no anything. is definitely not the standard of the word "nothing" to a "layman", it instead is the standard of "nothing" to the more knowledgeable of men

I'm talking about a universe out of nothing, no one would say that pop of out of thin air since there is no air before the universe. That's why I never heard anyone say that.

"Popped out of thin air" doesn't mean came from thin air, no one thinks that when they say that, they mean something more along the lines of coming into existence, where the thing came from absolutely nothing as I described it earlier bro.

the keyword here is "layman" and the definition of literally nothing you gave is definitely the definition an average cosmologist/theoretical physicist would give!!!

that's the point unless your definition of layman is same you give expert in the field

this is simple bro, don't drag it too far, the word "Layman" is definitely out of place there

By layman I meant a common person, they would understand literally nothing just like most people.

The only people who don't accept the common sense definition are not surprising, the same people who make up their own definitions regularly, namely atheists.
