they are all THIEVES in robes. . . . . . . have you read the news lately?!
Benny Hinn wants 6,000 people to pay $1,000 each to cover the Down Payment for his new private jet.
this is 419 at its best. . . . . . . the 419 scammers fool people into believing that they will get millions BUT the preachers they fool people into believing they will do miracle and cure any ailment or even go to heaven and meet the 72virgins normally "reserved" for the muslims LOL!!!!!! same people just different title.

the silly part is that he will get his plane because surely 6000 peeps will give their money thinking that they will be saved. the preacher prey on the weak/vulnerable and squeeze the life out of them in the name of religion.

i dont really mind about the charlatan preachers taking someones money that they genuinely gave but when a pastor tells a man his mother is a witch and that this man believe that its the word of god. . . . . . . to the point where this man looses his mind and try murder his mother THEN this is gone too far in the name of religion.

9ja people, pls open your eyes!!!!!!

1. The Bible

3. Prosperity

I just lost my jobs and looking for another,so a friend invited me to a program in his church,so i accompany him to the churc,as we were at the middle of the service, there was an alter call to thoser looking for jobs,i came out with several others, infact we were morethan 150 than came out.so after the prayers, the pastor now said,"for God to perfect your prayers, you should be able to sow to God,if you know between now and next weekend you can bring in 50 thousand naira to the house of God you should raise up your hand",alot of people raised up their hands,he said the ushers to put down their names, home address and phone numbers. After then the pastor reduced the money to 45 thosand naira, then to 40,then to 35 down to 1000 thousand naira. i did not raised my hand because i have not gotten any job that will make me to give such an amount. Later towards the end of the program, the pastor now said he was going to pray a special prayer for all of us in the church,he started praying, towards the end of the prayer,he now said all of us in the church to raise up the highest denomination of money in our piocket up towards heaven so that he will pray a special prayer, every body raised their hands with currencies in them including myself,i raised the last 1000 thousand naira up,i thought he would tell us to return the money beck to our pocket after the prayer,i was dead wrong. After the prayer he ordered the ushers to go round with basket and collect all the money raised up,infact you need to see the amount that was collected on that day, alot of people droped the last money in their pocket including me,most of us treked back home. I could not sleep throughout the night because of hunger and i now realised that we have been ROBBED without using a gun nor knife. Pls fellow nairalanders, what is happening in christedom?

Re: Are Pastors Thieves Without Guns? by Nobody: 2:31pm On Apr 03, 2010
This isn’t news. And sadly, there’re many other Pastors like him in Naija. As soon as you hear a pastor declare you tithing or sowing a certain amount and claiming you need to do that before God heeds your prayers, before he does this and that for you, all you need to do is make an exit. God will take whatever you have; no matter how little it is, and he’ll never ask you for what you do not have. And sadly, you and the rest of the congregation are at fault. Because you listened. And unless people wake up and stop throwing money at some of these money-hungry pastors, you’ll keep feeding them -when the majority of them are already living lavishly (from the money they’ve robbed you off, of course) while more than half of the congregation barely have the means to buy bread.
Re: Are Pastors Thieves Without Guns? by Horus(m): 12:48am On Apr 04, 2010
Pastors ask for tithes in the name of God. They'll say “God needs your help building the church, ” What does god need with a multi-million dollar church? Nothing. These are the same so-called church leaders that you'll find riding in fancy cars, eating the best foods, living in expensive homes and living the life of wealthy people while their followers scrape and struggle to do “God's will” by tithing. These so-called leaders will lead congregations in the worse of the worse neighborhoods and on their way to church to preach on Sundays or Saturdays or whatever day they declare to be the Sabbath they will step over the homeless or the less fortunate.

Most of them have become conmen who use psychology and spiritual threat to rob their poor victims.

I pity some folks who are yet to see the lucrativeness of this biz of religion and how these smart pastors are making the most of it.

Nigerians it’s time for us to denounce Islam and Christianity, leave these religions behind and move on toward high tech development. High tech can only be achieved by self determination, copying, spying, risking and mitigating without religious distraction.

i was in a church yesterday, this type of attitude and cunny way of life was carried ou to the members, just because the pastor wants to go to the United State Of America to preach,he was nor taxing his members to contribute money so that he can make the trip because according to him,its God that asked him to go and Evangelize in the USA

I don't blame the pastor aka 419ers, I blame the people who A) go to these churches and B) give their last dime to these "fraudsters" THEN go home and have nothing to eat.
