I swear religion is so confusing...they say God planned everything we say or do and when we do something wrong they say he'll punish us for it when he is the one who programmed us to do it....

And why can't God just kill/condemn/wipe away all sinners after the judgement day instead of storing them in a fire somewhere when he doesn't have any use for them anymore ?

So I have this question for the Bible scholars in here,
Where will all the people living and who have lived go to when they die before the white men brought Christianity to Nigeria?

I like your point. But note

Religion is confusing because God is proving and showing to us that he knows all things we human became confused after we have exhausted the little I mean little knowledge that God gave us that knowledge you lacked at that point God has kept it with another man that is when you seek advice or knowledge from next person to you your eye and sense became open and get you back on the track. Conclusion.. No man is an island only God is an island.

God is the God that promised and fulfilled because even a sinner have an atom of good deed in him so god has promised us that you shall reap what ever we have planted you will be purnished for the bad deed and let you enjoy your good deed too. Please go and read more on the discuson btw God and angels when God wanted to create Adam the first man.

I think I have the privilege to tell you this provably to add to you or to clear you from being confuse God has said probably you have not read about it in the Bible but it's writting in the hole book Quran Allah has said dit that all we human shall leave in the grave for 1,000years the world would have come to an end. And to clear you getting confused again those people you're reffering to as dead yes they are but not but not leaving like you and I immediately they being put in tye grave and everyone returned to receptions for partying God will command the angels to return the life that was taking from the that make the doctors confirmed them dead now begin to face the what they have leave to do above the six feet they are at the moment. That is how they will be leaving till the judgement day. That is why I said they still lleaves.

From what I have said here is based on the little knowledge Allah has giving I seek for his forgiveness from all my doing because Alllah knows best.

what

so you're saying Pharaoh had "freewill"?

did you even read your bible at all

in the book of Exodus, multiple times we are told, "But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go" (and variations upon that theme). God repeatedly forced Pharaoh to refuse, then punished Pharaoh (for the coerced refusal) by sending various plagues, up to and including murdering all the firstborn children of Egypt.

And to add insult to injury, after he had slaughtered the children and permitted Pharaoh to free the Israelites, "the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians." So, at any time, God could have simply moved them to let the Israelites go, without need for inflicting rains of frogs and bloody rivers, killing all their livestock, and murdering their children. But he waited to do that until after he had mostly sated his sadistic tendencies.

(I say "mostly", for a couple of chapters later, he once again abrogated Pharaoh's free will, "hardening his heart" to make him pursue the Israelites.)

then again Free will is inherently paradoxical, though, and doubly so when dealing with a supposedly omniscient, omnipotent being.

If decisions are dictated by circumstances (circumstances being both internal and external for this matter; predispositions to certain behaviours as much as personal history, etc.), then you have no free will, as you were never in control of your circumstances. If they are dictated by nothing, they're random and arbitrary, meaning you have no say in the decision-making process and, again, no free will.

Likewise, an omniscient being knows the outcome of all things before they occur. If said omniscient being is also omnipotent and creates a living creature, it decides the nature and circumstances of that being and, thus, all decisions it will ever make from the moment it has the cognizance to do so.

TL;DR: Pharaoh had NO choice!!!!

A man can't be poison with a beer if he doesn't drink, Pharaoh already have a wicked heart and from the onset choose not to let the children of Israelite go. God only multiple his intent to show the children of Israel what he can do.

Also read about Judas Iscariot, he was already stealing money from the purse before Satan entered him to betray Jesus.

He that breakth the edge the serpent shall bite.

You will have to start something on your own free will before the supernaturals can either use it for or against you

it's pity the world is made of slow thinkers that believe everything without questioning.

When we read the Bible, we should learn to use our brains too.

The question is:

Would an Egyptian King be judged according to the tenets of the Judeo-Christian religion which he didn't believe in and didn't exist at the time of his sojourn on earth?

he will be judge be his conscience, even if you a Muslim, Christian, voodoo, we all know what is bad is bad, we all can differentiate right and wrong

Cool but we can't find answers bro,the whole God/creation is way above us...we're just humans and we can't have answers to things we are told,we don't know these things.
Again, You're right about God being way above us and hence understanding him and his ways seeming impossible, but really, I believe we can have the answers especially to things we are told, It only depends on the record of how trustworthy are the words of who is telling us. From my research it is unthinkable for God to lie, so we can believe the answers he gives us about these sincere and honest questions of yours. we just need to be sure we are finding the answers in the right places and in the right manner. I still hope you can give me the chance of working with you to search out these answers. Thanks.

killing every male child in the land because of the prophecy about Moses is a bad thing. Turning his Father's friends to slaves (all the kings before him love the Israelites) ain't good thing.
afflicting more pains on the Israelites just because they requested to leave is not good either

This is one problem I have with you guys,I'm a Christian also and you're steering away from the question...if you don't have an answer no need mentioning me...

The op wrote the Bible passage where God said he created Pharaoh to exalt himself, thus,Pharoah was just like an experiment so the question is if Pharoah is going to heaven or hell.
Wetin concern Job for this matter??

And wait, you mean to tell me that God doesn't know what you'll do tomorrow? If your answer is yes that means there's nothing like Destiny then..

Even Pastors don't have answers to thousands of questions in the Bible, and pls don't try giving answers to questions you have no clue about...makes you sound more confusing

the op is even wrong for asking the question in the first place, we are not God and only God can judge him to determine where he will spend d rest of his life

Modified: That some still believe in a fictious story that the nation of isreal were once slaves in Egypt only shows the power of religion in relegating human minds and reasoning to a pathetic state.

If you believe in heaven and hell; and the concept of God as taught by the Bible, then it would seem that people are condemned to hell even before they are born. You are choiceless fool, and you only have to hope that God has encoded it in your programming to choose heaven. He knows the end from the beginning, and his will is always done. The Bible even says that he hardened Pharaoh's heart to hold the Israelites captive in Egypt, when the poor man would probably have preferred to be done with the hassle. He wills it for people to make bad choices that will eventually condemn them to hell. If it were not his will, it would not happen. Why isn't it his will to forgive the devil and be reconciled with him, so that this impending amargeddon can be nipped in the bud? Why grapple with one you have the power to control. Or is the devil not subject to God's will? And if he is not, he would be a wildcard; how would God then know the end from the beginning?

the word used wasn't created,
but your interpretation. Another version of the bible (the message) used "I picked you"
this is what it means to pick a person:
A football coach scouting for rookies looks for in players the person that meets up with the required talent and not just anyone. Pharoah already had this tendency and innate inclinations that made him a pick for this purpose.
God would not have picked nor hardened the heart of a righteous and upright man for this purpose.

Having read people's response to your question, it is sadly evident that most Christian and Muslim homes have failed in achieving the first assignment God assigned to the world.....evangelism (firstly in homes). A generation that is not interested in God, but pleasures of the world.

Reading what some of you wrote here I weep for your souls.

what other "evil" did the Bible record that the Pharaoh did?

The series of kings of Egypt after Joseph died were responsible for the ensalvement , oppression and Ill treatment of God's pple up to the Pharaoh that was in power at the time of moses ....for 400years...isn't that evil enough for you?

If somehow the present pharaoh at that set time Israel's movement to promise land was a good person, who probably had stopped the oppression and ill-treatment of the isrelites when he got into power...would there have been the need of waring plauges and chasing into the red sea....
Have u seen anywhere in the bible God just decide to harden the heart of a righteous and upright man..so that he can destroy him...

We all have a made a decision at some point making us act the way we act now...
Before God will allow u be led by our reprobate mind you would have position urself through series of chances to do right in the past but never did...people don't just become evil overnight...u think adolph Hitler never had series of chance to be a good person.but at those points of decision he crowned the power of flesh..history said he wanted to be a priest when he was a child...
