“I for one know that if you allow all the Igbos in this country to go into a free and fair referendum, they won’t vote that Biafra should leave Nigeria." The above is the greatest lie I have heard so far. Anyway, a lie from a Kokokori over Biafra is inconsequential. 1 Like |

"Besides, the Abacha ..... asserted that Biafra was a mirage because the South East zone is landlocked.".............. Frank Kokori Biafra landlocked? According to Abacha. And Kokori agrees. It is as god as saying that Warri is landlocked. Frankl Kokoriooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Bring the Referendum immediately. More than 95% of Bifrans shall vote Yes to Biafra. Nigeria is a failed experiment. The Kokrois of the SS must not continue to use the Igbo as buffer to stay afloat in one Nigeria. Take awy the Igbo from Nigeria, the kokoris and their SS land become easy preys to Afonja and Arewa, and the Kokoris can even be doomed forever. 1 Like |

Cooly100:Exactly what I was thinking. Ebonyi lies fallow untouched, and so other enclaves in the South East. Vast land waiting for take over. Igbos should return home biko. Whether Nigeria breaks up or not, time to reinvest in your fatherland. |

Benekruku:Dude, if Onitsha, Owerri and Enugu could rise from the rubbles of the war and today, they are at worst at par with Kano, Kaduna, Abeokuta, Ibadan et'al that didn't see any war (and the attendant destruction). Chiwude:This is exactly what the Nigerian government worked to achieve; limit them to an enclosed environment and forever shut them up. They have succeeded in driving a wedge between Igbos in the S'and E'. This is one area Biafran agitators have failed to work hard on, uniting all Igboid ethnic group and giving them one voice. And this is one of my major beef with IPOB. If only they limited their agitation and campaign to Igboid areas..... 1 Like |

KahlDrogo:As much as I am not a proponent of Biafra, Ekweremadu is a lazy fool if that is his reason for not supporting the Biafran cause. I can only imagine what Nigeria will be when the oil finally dries up since we don't understand the concept of human resources. |

[quote author=KahlDrogo post=57411593]No one gives q shît what they do with their region. They should simply get the hell out of this country, that's all. By the way, this terrifying reality is the reason they keep attaching themselves to ethnic minorities in the South. Igbos started this nonsense, they must get it. Edit: So this thread finally made it to the fp. Let me add a few lines to buttress what Kokori said. Check this out. “Importantly, as I mentioned earlier, we are not certain that the South-South will go with the Biafra idea. And in the event that they do not, what are our options for economic survival? Flowing from this, what guarantee do we have for international support if the main oil bearing region pulls out, knowing that no nation is a Santa Claus?" - Ike Ekweremadu. Ekweremadu said this just yesterday. [/Quote An average Igbo man has nothing to do with an oil wealth. To be self industrious is a gift to make something out of nothing. I bet you, it will surprise you to see how great the said Biafra will become if separated from Nigeria. It takes a nation that speaks one language to be great. Let the igbos go and you will see how great a nation it becomes |

Just a quick surf on the internet, and the result became obvious. One very important thing that people don't understand (wittingly or unwittingly) is that even the Eastern region of the pre-war era didn't capture the whole essence of the Igbo homeland. The sizeable chunk of the igbos in Delta, Edo, Kogi and Benue were obviously left out. Any reasonable man would know that the River Niger divides Igboland into two unequal halves, with the greater half being the lands to the east of the Niger using Asaba as a reference point. No insults please, just do the check and be enlightened.
