the onion site is so funny. we go there everytime in my english class to read articles.

we did one in my english class too (kind of satirize the commercial/advertising industry and how they use pseudoscience "fake science" to trick ignorant customers into buying their goods. They use all this big words and you go hmm... they must be smart scientists, business people):

the fact is that most of the news actually represent real life issues only they exagerrate them a lot. and use satire/parody.
