I'm Fedup, What Can I Do? by hope4black: 8:37am On Aug 19, 2017
Have never done anything successful in my life before, no matter how hard I may try, bad luck has been my middle name. Sometimes I felt God doesn't care about me, and truth be told He doesn't care.
Since my childhood have been struggling with life, have never been in a happy mood throughout a day before, either happy in the morning or sad in the night. I tried a lot of things and it never works out,bad luck all the time.
I prayed, fast yet God seems so far away, people do say a lot of testimonies about this same God ,I don't even have anothing to say about God in my life, cause no good has ever happened in my life before.
This is my seventh years in school meanwhile I'm not a medical or law student, all my mates are 3 years ahead of me in every thing, money, happiness, joy etc.
God doesn't care about me I can feel the hatred, have denied Him many times, yet I still find myself beleivig in Him cause I know I'm severing the living God. But now I don't know what to belive in anymore.
Maybe there is another God out there who can answer my prayers and turn my life around I really need to know and find him, cause I'm fedup

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

I read on a thread here on nairalaind, it say " The purest gold comes from the hottest furnace, and the brightest thunderbolt comes through the darkest storm of life."

God protect us, and sometimes He uses this things to keep us close to Him. if things did not work out well for you In this present world, know that there is a better place you in the other side of life call heaven.

What's your purpose on earth? When you discover that and walk towards it, then you will be walking to a gold mine.

Interestingly, you speak good English. That means you went to a good Primary School and a good Secondary School. You are in the University and successfully paid seven sessions of school fees. You are most likely smart and intelligent among others.

My point. You are slipping into depression not because of what you have but what you don't yet possess.

The Life of a Man does not consist in the Abundance of his Possessions.

1. First, count the positive things about and around you. You will find out that you are well ahead of millions. Then give thanks to God for those things.

2. Be BornAgain and establish a Relationship with God. /Rededicate your life to God if you are BornAgain.

3. Establish the negative influences around you and Terminate your connection/dependence on them WHILE at the same time, establishing connections and dependences on likely positive influences to you.

4. Upgrade your spiritual life with God while you seek for Deliverance. Do
i. Self Deliverance
ii. Partake in Mass Deliverance and
iii. Find a Mature and Experienced Christian to minister deliverance on you.

Note:
Some kinds of deliverances are Instant while some are progressive.

5. Slowly, you will see things change and turn around for you. Don't loose Faith in God

Read the following books and you'll understand why you are failing.
1. “OUTLIERS” by Malcolm Gladwell

2. “MASTERY” by Robert Greene

3. “WHERE GOOD IDEAS COME FROM” by Steven Johnson

4. “MINDSET” by Carol Dweck

You see God does not answer your prayers probably because, well, he travelled or busy, or maybe... I don't know.... You might be working with wrong pricinples and mindset. How come most white people don't believe in God and they still do so well?
Just read these books. Especially the first one.

Your problems are self inflicted, just like 99.9 percent of other religious proponents and practitioners. You all sees God as a trade by barter platform, thus, the reason why you have failed to accept responsibility of your actions and inaction.

Kindly redefine your concept about God - forget about whatever religion has taught you about God, take yourself to a default state of a day old child, one that's witty.

After you achieved the above feat, consider to embrace a thought line that sees God as being just, one who has given human beings all they need to exist independent of his minute interventions. One who neither expect prayers nor praises from you. He whom the only means you reverence him is through your good deeds towards your fellow human beings.

The next stage will be for you to embrace a thorough change of ethical leanings. Embrace diplomatic ethical leanings and discard manipulative ethical leanings. While the latter will always win you instant admiration which you will lose within a twinkle on an eye the former will always earn you respect. As the saying goes manipulators lose credibility diplomats gain it.

Well, I'll stop here for now to say more later. But I assure of success in a no distant time, if you can make the necessary changes.

Choose Spirituality over religion. Only then will you realize that the power is in you. Stop praying to an outside force. Spirit is a universal force but you can only tap into the power and energy when you grow the energy of your Soul. Its called self improvement by practicing Fairness, equity, and personal accountability. Your energy will become so Magnetic that it will begin to attract good things to you.

Foremost, I never said that there's no God/Allah/creator. I'm simply spiritual but not religious. For all I care and know, the presence of subconscious makes every homo sapiens a spiritual being.

Now, to your inquires: (1) The possibility of you living and believing but not hoping in God: Before I go on, like I said earlier on, he's already given human beings all we need to exist and succeed independent of his minute interventions. Whatever you lack, there's someone somewhere that has it, so learn how to become a good deal maker. And remember that honesty remains the best policy in business. So, the possibility of you living and believing but not hoping in God is by way of embracing altruism. Altruism simply means being of goodness towards anything and everything without an ulterior motive of gaining anything in return. I am talking about selflessness. . . This doesn't mean that good things will elude you or that when people extend goodness to you that you shouldn't accept it or that you shouldn't aim for profit/wage in business, no. It simply meanings that you aren't going to be an opportunist like 99.9% of all religious proponents and practitioners are. By the way, opportunity is different from opportunism. While there's nothing wrong with the former there's everything wrong with the latter.

(2) God cares. He remains a perfect being. We human beings are just imperfect manifestation of a perfect him, so stop trying to dissect him, because no person can comprehend and validate something beyond his understanding.

Meanwhile, kindly get insight on something valuable, commercialize it and see yourself succeeding. Become success conscious rather than money conscious. Avoid conceit at all cost, because it remains the bane of poverty among very many formally educated folks. Conceited people knows everything but understand nothing - I term them inarticulate incompetents.

Your words motivates me, thanks.
Life is not just fair on my side, whether I believe in God or not.
There was a time in my life that I stop putting all my mind on God trying to do all my best ,like just being good. For about two to three years I stopped praying. Not that I don't believe or have the feeling that there is God out there but the issue then was that whenever I go to church and listen to sermons I do felt in my heart that I'm doing the wrong thing, that I have to change, I will condemning myself that I have to put God totally in charge of my life.

The moment I start to have a change of mind and trusting in God again with all my body ,spirit and soul, frustration, lack , sorrow ,depression will come in again.

My point is that, whether I believe in God or not, is still all the same, life has been unfair, I count myself among the unlucky ones.
