And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

From time to time this topic is discussed in church and as usual some are of the view that its safer to be comfortable in life than to be rich. As a christian do you believe that:

1. , your life would be more spiritual if you were rich?

2. , God wants you to be rich personally (I ask from a sense of your having a personal conviction)

3, there is a difference in what Christ said in Matthew 19:24 and what John said in 3 John 2 which says: 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

"Love of Money is the root of all evil" Jesus is not objecting to Chrisitians getting wealth. He is telling us to beware of the place of our Wealth in pour heart. Why do we call Abraham Father of Faith? He never placed anything above his God. God said go sacrifice your only son Abram Made attempt. But this Rich man in question here did not see it as something reasonable.

The same thing applies to so many Rich people today. They keep only the aspect they feel is useful to them.

In the quote above Jesus did not say it is Impossible for a Rich man to enter the Kingdom of God, but He said it is Easier for one than the other. If you can resolve that All you have belong to God, you could make heaven as a rich man.
