A mini swimming pool, should not be more than 1.8m to 2.5m depending on the finishing. The maintenance is where the problem lies. You will have to spend more monthly on chemical to dose and disinfect the pool.

Its just over priced jare. Maintenance depend of the use. And its just chlorine and occasionally total replacement of the water.

Idk what all these people are saying, during my internship last year we did one for a client in Lekki and it cost N6 million. And the pool wasn't even too large or fancy. Then someone there us talking 350k. Haba.

When the pool is ready and all pool tools are on ground,the owner will spend 50000 to #80000 monthly.
If discovered that the pool is leaking from the body,that is a serious one. The pool will surely be abandoned.

The price varies with your area in terms of quality water proof materials, cement, unhollow block or concrete, tiles, treatment

3.5m in abuja, I don't know about lagos. Probably 2.5 or 3m. It all depends on d accessories. Generally, u won't get it lesser than 3m in abuja.

It will cost you around 2m

with 900k my firm will give u the best with some soft landscape around it.

Not less than 3m for those mini pools, that is if you want to have like 10 massage jets, hot and cold water regulators and ofcourse the under water lighting systems, dowsing machine with water treatment systems. Mine is an indoor pool, cos I dont want neighbours seeing me having good times with girls inside my pool.

Which location do u have in mind? And what accessories are you looking at? Cos DAT only digging and casting, then retention wall might gulp DAT 1.8m if u r not careful in abuja.

Projects like building a swimming pool in quoted as a lump sum... budget around 5mil (30ft by 12ft by 6ft deep)- 8mil depending

I have worked on a couple of big swimming pool, it not a child's play, a lot of cash has to go into it.
I saw earlier post of 500k and 1million, this is far from the truth for any type of pool irrespective of the size.
Firstly you will need a foundation beam, which will cost a whole lot of money to receive a pool slab which can never be less than 200mm thick slab over the entire area.
Also a concrete wall round it of about 230mm thick since it is a water retaining structure.
Additives added into all your concrete mix to seal pores in concrete and prevent both loss of pool water due to seepage and infiltration of ground water into the treated pool water.
After all concrete works then tiling after which you will also need a small pump room where the pump will be and the filters.
The filtrate units filters dirt by circulating the waters and a wave like pattern will be seen on the waters whenever the pump is on.
In all this I don't think you can spend less than 4million irrespective of the size since the cost of everything is very high now.
This is my own opinion.
