Trash! You failed to address the fact main issue here which you bolded: that Martin Rowson would remain an atheist even if God walked into the restaurant.

That's his opinion and anybody with an iota of sense will regard it as such. You aren't someone that I consider to be with much sense so I won't expect you to do what sensible people do.

Am asking you pertinent questions. You claim to know Jesus don't you? It will suprise you but both my paternal and maternal grandfathers are still alive. One is 89 and the other is 91.
Those questions may sound pertinent to you, but they are childish, very stupid to me.

If you want to ask pertinent questions, ask questions like, 'How do you Know God created the Universe?', not questions like, 'Have you ever seen Jesus?'. This is so stupid.

If I can find even one atheist like that (in this case Thomas Nagel and Martin Rowson) I have a good reason to see every atheist that way.

Until they prove they're not like that.

I know you're shocked and pained at the same time to see such a statement coming from an atheist. Let the pain flow through you.

Why should I be pained over another person's opinion?
A reasonable person will know that different people have different ideas and beliefs. Your religion has over 30,0000 different sects most with different beliefs but we don't go about saying that they are all the same. You are a young earth creationist while many other christians do not share your YEC beliefs and we know not to paint you all with one brush because some of you are foolish enough to believe that the universe is 6000 years old.

I am just calling you out for your idiotic display of dishonesty and foolishness.

How did you know that Jesus (God) created the universe of you have never had an encounter with him personally? How did you know that Jesus created the universe and not Allah or Brahma?

How do you even know that Jesus Isreal and alive if you've never had any personal encounter with him that made you establish his existence as a real entity?

Let's established a premise before we begin this discussion.
Do you believe in Brahma or Allah as Creators? Your answer will set us in the right direction.

They have been alleged by billions of people to be the creators of the universe. Jesus is also alleged by billions too to be the creator of the universe.

I'm not. I said it seems to me you implying that if one has knowledge one doesn’t have belief, something you seem to have said explicitly in your original post:

Alright.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to have known that by the above you meant "faith" when it's not mentioned anywhere in the post.

Sir, I think you're being dishonest or probably not trying to have a good discuss. Below is my reply to you when I realized you weren't cleared on the usage of believe as used in the post.

Sorry if you don't understand the part you marked bolded. Just so we both are cleared: the belief
there means religious faith.

And considering that I've seen many atheists contrast "belief" and knowledge in a similar way. I'm sure you have heard atheists say they don't believe in evolution, they accept it.

Stop using the atheist you've seen as a de-facto standard for every atheist.

No one claims it is. undecided

You better speak for yourself. Well, I'm glad we're cleared on this

No, but we not talking about "truth." We talking about knowledge.

Having read a lot of his post, I am safe to conclude that KEB's problem is pride. He refuses to acknowledge he's wrong when his error is too conspicuous to miss and often play the smart yet foolish game of avoidance when one refuses to dance to his tune.

It would be nearly the same as me saying that pic below is talking about faith exclusively and not belief in general. I'm not sure how anyone is suppose to have known that.

Stop using the atheist you've seen as a de-facto standard for every atheist.

I'm not. However it not uncommon to hear atheists contrast belief and knowledge in a very similar way. See pic

"Descriptive knowledge, also declarative knowledge or propositional knowledge, is the type of knowledge that is, by its very nature, expressed in declarative sentences or indicative propositions. This distinguishes descriptive knowledge from what is commonly known as "know-how", or procedural knowledge (the knowledge of how, and especially how best, to perform some task), and "knowing of", or knowledge by acquaintance (the knowledge of something's existence)." ~ Wikipedia

Its the knowledge of facts usually expressed as "know-that" in sentences. It's different to procedure knowledge or knowledge by acquaintance.

Well, anyhow you want to spin this, it doesn't make Yahweh's existence knowable, it's barely believable.

Kiss the truth. You atheists will refuse to believe that God exists even if He proves Himself.
That is true. If God proves to me that God exists, I will most definitely never insult mine, or God's intelligence, by claiming, "I believe that God exists".

It seems to be a flaw in language with rather ancient origins, I suppose, that makes believers claim they 'believe'. Most, I guess, just take the off the shelf statement, "I believe", without thinking, and see it as a virtue. If only someone had told them that even the devil believes. But I guess we cannot ask that other peoples knowledge be perfect.

In uttering the phrase "I believe that God exists", what I would be confessing would be that I do not exactly know whether God exists or not but that I am willing to hold to the position that God does exist. But if God were to prove to me that God exists, my belief would surely become knowledge so why just believe?

I am an atheist. The most significant characteristic of my atheism is evidence. I am fond of stating that as far as god like things are concerned, I tend not to do 'belief'. If god was rain, I would not claim I believe it were raining if rain were pissing down on my head. I would know it was raining, and I would say so. Same with gods. If God provides me with evidence to prove God's existence, I will not merely believe, I will know that God exists, and I will say, "there is God"!

Going by my own interaction with you, i sense this is also your position. Why? Here is why. You don't know how the Universe came to be, but it must not be God who created it.
What does that mean? You don't know, but don't want it to be God(YHWH).

No one mentioned these other men. Nagel threw out his views and i called him honest, you jumped on me. What shd i have said?

Hope, Atheists just hope there's no God, sorry there is.

Nagel threw out his views and you called him honest? that's being economical with the truth cuz what you said is "No Nigerian atheist can be this honest", you regard it as honesty cuz it resonates with your opinion

Not thanks. Answer the question.
Your question was, 'what is the correlation between ISOC and God.

ISOC= INTENTIONAL STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS.

This is about Consciousness and how one can be intentionally in control of that state.

Now, to be conscious means to be aware of your environment, to be able to function and interact with that environment. And intentionality is how you operate to bring actions or activities in your environment under your immediate control. It is power to administrate, dominate and control.

It is the state of being able to mentally represent yourself at any point in time.

You asked me how ISOC relates to God. Here is how.

It is the God-likeness (consciousness) in us that enables us be in a state which we can take control of our minds and make rational and intentional decisions.

According to the book of Life, the Holy Bible, After YHWH created Man, he (Adam) was in the realm of the spirit, in God's image, but the purpose of creating Adam was for him to operate and function not in the realm of the spirit, but the Physical, hence, there was for him to have a body which will enable him be a material entity, hence, the clay.

The Book of Life accounts that, when YHWH took the clay and moulded it, it was lying lifeless on the ground until God took the spirit which had created and put in the clay, they clay received Life, jacked up and became a living soul.

Now, the clay has become a living soul, breathing and and in motion, but the living soul needed to interact and function in his new environment. But how could he archive that without consciousness?

This is when the likeness of YHWH came to play in the life of Adam.

The Likeness of God is the consciousness of God. Without Consciousness, we won't be able to interact and function in our environment. We won't be able to take rational decisions. And, taking rational decisions is done intentionally.

YHWH put intentional state of consciousness in man to enable him be god.

Are his views right or wrong? Are they true of atheists, especially you or not?

Case in point. The Cause of the Universe.

You don't know what or who caused it, but you don't believe it is God. Even when there are indications He did, you insist he is not. If you are asked why you say He is not, you'd ask to be convinced, but you have your ways which you want to be convinced, knowing God will not answer to you, hence, you insist He is not.

See your sense?
