GOVERNOR OKOWA SET TO SWEAR-IN NEWLY ELECTED CHAIRMEN. His Excellency the Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa will this afternoon at 2pm swear-in the newly elected Local Government Chairmen by virtue of the powers conferred on him by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFRN). The grand ceremony will take place at the Unity Hall of the Government House; Time is 2pm prompt. Guests are to be seated on or before 1:30pm please. It will be recalled that the council elections was held last Saturday across the state and winners who are to be sworn in today emerged as announced by Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DESIEC). |
