Some people have claimed that they might have found the bones of Jesus Christ. so my question (to Christians) is what happens to your faiths and beliefs if indeed the bones of Jesus were found?.

All these things they're doing is to what avail? to make believers stop believing? comm'on they should give christians some more credit. They should know by now that christians don't give in that easily. I guess they have all the time in the world in their hands that's why they don't have anything better to do.

it would only increase my faith in knowing that the man lived and exsited. Of course I believe that he rose again but not physically.

what will dna achieve in this situation when you don't have any other material to base your judgment on. will they go to heaven like david suggested.

they are only trying to hack at the beliefs that form the foundations of the christian faith and it simply won't work like many other such schemes. How about the National Geographic documentary of last year that talks about a scroll written by Judas Iscariot. They simply don't understand what faith means!

What James Cameron is saying by his Documentary is that Jesus married & Fathered a Child named Judas by Mary Magdalene. So if Jesus rose up in spirit, how could he had fathered Judas.

Exactly!, why can't James Cameron volunteer himself for a trip to heaven. He will get the DNA earlier from there, The wisdom of God has counfounded the fools of this world, Its just a way to make money by selling a controversial news because of hunger, He is even showing a news on CNN about the stuff tommorow, A lot of folks are beginning to say the factual-fiction stuff{Da Vinci code} brought about all these, God's wisdom supersedes book-knowledge/scientists findings, This may just be the beginning, A whole lot of others may still come around to say different foolish things, It's only left to individuals to understand thier personal relationship with God and know what faith they hold onto/what they believe in,

The whole story does not make sense. Follow me here, if they think they've found Jesus, it implies they believe the biblical story. The same biblical story tells us that Jesus rose from the dead, PHYSICALLY, they didn't see him laying there anymore (I do not get where these spiritual rising from the dead is coming from, how do you awaken from death spiritually?, lol). In which case, the bones they found are not that of Jesus since the bible tells us Jesus rose from the dead.

They also say Jesus had a kid with Mary Magdalene and they were buried in the same tomb.

Another question: Why would they label the tomb of JESUS, then go ahead and preach that he rose from the dead?. . .Were people in that era not smart enough to go back and confirm for themselves?

I saw James Cameron the other day on CNN with yet another spin. With the tragic success of The Davinci Code, scrutiny of the christian faith has become fashionable. He sounded like he was not pushing forward a conclusion but simply raising questions. I wonder how a religion of more than 2,000 years would be subject to scholarly enquiry. Time has already confirmed the faith of christianity, a faith firmly rooted on the principle of the ressurection.

lets get it Right, it is not the bones of our Jesus, it was the bones of a Jesus, according to the report on the news there were many Jesuses buried in that region , it was infact a popular name. They found many many tombs with the name Jesus inscribed on them. It is a fact that my Jesus is not in a tomb,he is alive
