She was refered from Subol Hospital, Idimu to General hospital where she was rejected four times! by 1. Gen hospital Igando
2. General Hospital, Agege
3. General Hospital, Ikeja (Ayinke House).
I cant rememeber the forth one now. She was rejected and we were all devastated until a friend suggested Island Maternity Hospital, Lagos

For a hospital that is absolutely wrong on their part. For a government hospital, that is Illegal. You can seek redress via servicom. What they should have done was refer if their faculty was inadequate. You have a major case with merit on your hands. The staff at hospitals that rejected ought to be sanctioned but you need to report this first other wise the practice continues.

That was 8 years ago. 24th August, 2010 precisely. No evidence! No record! How can one make a case? The health system in Nigeria is bad already. So, where do we start? Anyway, we have gotten over the whole situation as my sister who went through this, still lives. We are grateful to God.

Sad news its only the life of the elites that matters and they get treated abroad.
Nigerian life matters. I think the Lagos state Government should take this case up, investigate it and do something about it. the doctors need to know that life matters, the confidence of lagosian need to be restored. we have beautiful city, we need good health care services. this is sad and better imagined.

yes they do have the right to reject critical conditions if they dont have the facilities to treat. i cannot admit a head injury patient when i know, i dont have a neurosurgeon in my hospital.
