I had this chat with an old secondary school classmate who was shocked to hear that I did not believe in the whole God and religion thing. He told me that he was certain that God existed because he was delivered from being possessed by one of his aunts who claimed she was a witch. Little did he know that I was aware of his escapades in school as a cultist and all the gory details you guys dont want to hear. My question is if he had died while he was supposedly "possesed" by his aunt to do bad things. Would he still be guilty of his sins?

He would have gone to hell, not because he was possesed or whatever, but because he was not born again. whatever he did personaly was insignificant. God wouldnot have held it against him for being possesed. It was not his terrible life that made him a sinner. He was born in sin as a nature. so if he wasnt possesed ,he would still go to hell any way but thank God he is saved now. Old things are passed aWAY.

2 Cor. 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Just to save us from getting into a long winded conversation about what born again means, lets say he was a born again christian, then he became possessed maybe by something he did. Better still if he was not in control of his will how does he make the decision to be born again?

I dont understand your post so well . A born again can not be possesed by the devil. but he could be influeced , opressed and obsessed by demons if he allows it by engaging in things that could open him up for such. If a man does something wrong under the influence of a spirit,; the man is inocent, he needs help. The spirit needs to be cast out of him. But he is a criminal as long as the police is concerned. but he is innocent as far as God is concerned

Bollocks! Sinful nature. What is this sinful nature? I'm far from born again but I sin and I do good too. If I do bad because of a sinful nature, what prompts me to do good? And whatever it is that prompts me so, what is it of no concern of God's? He can only punish and cannot reward? And don't tell me I do good only cuz of what I expect to get in return. I do good for no other reason than it makes me feel good. Sinning also makes me feel good in a different way though. Who is responsible for this sinful nature you say I have? And when you say someone is saved, from what is he saved?
