echelon: Teacher isi agbo ncha, igbo teacher ndewo there are two meanings to ô bulu na-emeghi ka ana-anyu nsi anyu one could be the one you wrote (infact i now get what you were trying to say) . . but the other meaning if u put a different tone to the pronounciation would be if you don't put effort to it Try and practise them . .just like "akwa" which could either go for "a bed" or "an egg" or even the verb "to cry" , depending on the pronounciation |
Re: Igbos come show your proverbs skills by echelon(m): 10:22pm On Aug 24, 2007 |
cute-ass: because of the different dialects of igbo, there are nuances. for the word "akwa", we use what we call "Udaolu" to differentiate the different meanings of the same word since Igbo is a tonal language. Finally, Mu nwa isi agbo ncha? |
