Yes.
That is the work of a motivational pastor , they speak what people wants to hear and not what God says.
Daddy Freez is his lamp and candle not God.
He just woke up to realise that tithing is now old fashion after several years of collecting tithes.
That means he had no Holy Spirit as his comforter to tell him tithe collection was wrong.

He just realize the truth after researching on scriptures following the recent tithe debate i don't think there is anything wrong there.
Infact it would have been wrong if he had refused to research it again just like most pastors have refused to do hoping the issue will die down someday

Are you saying he was collecting tithes without knowing what the words of God says concerning it ?

Leviticus 27:30 KJV
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's : it is holy unto the Lord .

This means tithes are no longer God's.
Paying tithes is like showing gratitude for His blessings and nothing more. Even Jesus Christ told us that we need to pay our tithes.

Must a pastor wait for a debate to know the truth concerning the things of God? Where was the Holy Spirit when he was collecting the tithes or did he just received the Holy Spirit after the debate?

I'm very very sure that was the case, all Nigerian pastors collecting tithe are also collecting without scriptural basis.

Leviticus 27:30 KJV
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's : it is holy unto the Lord
there was no christianity during the days of Leviticus and Malachi, get that?

Even Jesus Christ told us that we need to pay our tithes.
don't add your own o, where did you find this in the new testament ?

Must a pastor wait for a debate to know the truth concerning the things of God?
for the debate to come it shows that people are asking questions which is very very good. Therefore pastors should start updating themselves like pastor Sam adeyemi has done.

Where was the Holy Spirit when he was collecting the tithes or did he just received the Holy Spirit after the debate?
holy spirit has nothing to do with human errors or illegal money distortion of church members in the name of tithe. You can be filled with the holy spirit but your ways are full of errors due to ignorance

My people perish because they lack knowledge

Is the God of the old testament not the God of the new testament? The God that said tithes are His in the old testament has not changed.

This is verses to show you that Jesus Christ approves tithing:

Luke 11:42 KJV
But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

How and why should a Pastor update himself when all he needs regarding God's mind are written in the Bible . It is the world system that changes not God's word , it changes not.

Holy Spirit has everything to do with mistakes and errors we commit. The Holy Spirit will caution you and guide you whenever you are about to make mistakes even to the point of warning you regarding your business ventures talkless of spiritual things.

John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Pastor Adeyemi to said 'Tithing has expired'. CHAi.

Anyway, the Bible said that there will be a falling away.

Today, many pentecostal churches who upheld God's righteous words are now busy serving tables. Seeking for more members who will sit comfortably and listen to them. That was how Hillsong ministry started allowing gay and lesbian to their church. Because they were more concerned about prosperity than going to heaven.

These are dangerous time. Let's pray for one another, for Christians worldwide. Hmm. I tremble.

You will agree with me that every human have the right to change their mind over issues. This is not different from God, he has every right to change and witch from the old covenant order of doing things to the new covenant and you cannot force him by your beliefs of the old testament tithe to remain there with you, he will live you in your old conservative beliefs and only you will sort that out for yourself.

There are several scriptures that shows that God has changed his mind over what people thought was the usual order he is still maintaining.

Matthew 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

The Axe represent Christ
The root of the trees represent all religions rooted and established on earth before Christ came with christianity, including the religion of the Jews or what is known as Judaism, having the old covenant or old testament on which tithing was an order.

All these old religions or faiths of old testament days including Judaism and it tithing did not bring good fruit on the earth so God changed his mind on them and they where cut down by the Axe of Christ(christianity), making Christ the only way to God, Jesus says I'm the way the truth and the life, not Judaism and it tithing.
So if you are still practicing tithing in your church by reading old testament, there is no correlation there, you are just simply belittling yourself. Jesus says the least person in Gods kingdom is greater than Judaism. All I'm saying is, you have every right to reject tithing as a christian and nothing will happen. You have the power and authority now through Christ.

This is verses to show you that Jesus Christ approves tithing:

Luke 11:42 KJV
But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Explain this verse you just quoted let's see how you understand it, because what I'm seeing there is woe unto you because you tithe....

Holy Spirit has everything to do with mistakes and errors we commit. The Holy Spirit will caution you and guide you whenever you are about to make mistakes even to the point of warning you regarding your business ventures talkless of spiritual things.
All these happens to non christians too, Muslims and non christians have minds which guides and caution them when they make mistakes too, will you say they have holy spirit like that?

John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
what this simply means is, the holy ghost will remind the early disciples of what Jesus thought them before he was ascended, what they already know perventure they forget, or where you there?
You read something that was told to christians in the bible does not necessarily mean it was directly talking to you.
Everything you need to know are already in the bible, all need to do is read to your understanding, you don't need any holy spirit to guide you do your responsibilities, when you fail to do you begin to blame holy spirit
