Nl i need your encouragement, my case is so critical that i soakd my pillow every night with tears. If possible i should have question my God for creating me,but i knew he created me for a purpose. If you were born with silver spoon in your mouth be grateful to God. I grew up as a child in one village in state. my dad died when i was not even a year according to my mum. I am the first and only child, because of his dead the marriage broke up. My mom re-marry leaving me with my grandmum (a widow). Worse was that my uncles have a misuntanding over land, these further make life difficult as her first son drive us out of his house. I can remembered vividly when we us to sleep in the church at night and woke up very early in the morning to go back to work on our farms. She would always tell me that one day i shall be great.  There are times that we would use just pumkin leave, pepper, and salt to cook (soup) on the farm. My uncles never care about this poor widow nor me til date, seeing our situation my mum decided to help by giving me some money for my education, though her husband was against it. I struggle to finish my o' level and finally secure admission. My mum endeavour to pay my fees, i was determined to succeed. I struggle til graduation in 2007. You would never undastand what it meant to attend school without fund. It was tough,  while my colleaque were using labtop to do assignment, i was begging transport to go home so i could do some menial jobs to buy text book.Thank God i'm through anyway. I did my nysc las yr. Since them, i've been searching for job. Now it became done on me that i did not study a professional course. I've not seen jobs advertised for physiologist since. I'm sad. My mum is not happy. I persuaded her to buy D.E form for me so i can go back to study another course but they ate our money, no admission. Now my grand mum is late. my mum told me she has tried i should go and cater for myself, i thought it's a joke. But she meant it.For d past 4wks i've been battling with hunger, i'm jobless. My uncles never care. I don't know were to start from. no fund to start anything. God pls help me. I need your encouragement and prayer pls

First of all, you're not an Orphan. You still have your mother, okay? Sorry about your situation though but once there's life there's hope. Be strong and hopeful. Favour will locate you.

Do you want to do business or you want to go back to school?

I'll suggest you start a business so that you can raise money to go back to Uni if you still want.

What kind of business do you have in mind?

I know that but I wouldn't call him an Orphan though. I think it's too harsh considering he still has his Mum. That's just me anyway.

do you have anywhere you can stay in abj?
at lest my company pays better than the school you are about to start.
as a casual worker at the end of the month you go home with 35th
Re: My Greatest Challenge As An Orphan by menek(m): 6:31pm On May 17, 2010
@chiejik, that would have been nice. My sister, i do not have where to stay over there. The only time i came close to abj was during my nysc on my way to nasarawa state. Once i have hope of a better tomorrow, i wouldidn't mind to lay my head anywhere provided it's a place were i will not be mistaking for a criminal at night. My predicament will not remain forever. I had slept in a construction site before and still survive. I feel ashame telling people about myself because it may sound unbelievable. Nevertheless, i will call someone that accommodated me when i was still in sch, i learnt that he is working in abj at present then get back to u. Thanks

Is this for a room or what?

Bim4u, I'm willing to share the rent with you if you don't mind. We do 50/50.

Another idea is starting a business. May be some of us can put money together and he can start a business.

Either one he prefers to do I'm willing to assist.

Thanks.
Re: My Greatest Challenge As An Orphan by Bim4u: 10:30pm On May 19, 2010
@ Radiant, you know i actually thought about it as well,if the year's rent is paid what happen afterward becos the amount she said they pay wouldn't keep him in Abj comfortably to pay the rent afterwards, feed n live a comfortable life.I was thinking along the line of either start a business n stay in Lagos or if someone can hook him up with a better paying job.Whatever decision the Op decide is aight with me. Am fine with 50/50 God bless you Radiant,

I'm shock at the kindness and favour been shower at me. Bim4u when i first saw your post i was overwhelmed with joy that i didn't know what to say. Within me i experience what could be refer to as tears of joy. I took a minute and was pondering on "what manner of love is this" Only to come back and met another one. This is an unmerited favour,i had never been favour like this before. Is this what they use to say, the rejected stone becomes the corner stone. I have hope now, i can feel a sense of belonging returning to me. Moderator (aisha2) pls thank them for me. I don't think thank u is the proper word to use here,i wish i can go for another word that has more strength and weight than thank u. May d a

I am deeply touched  cry  cry  by his story and for the help offered by Bim4u, chiejik et al. This is  exactly what Nairaland is supposed to be like. A place where you can have your burdens lifted by fellow human beings.  Thumbs  up guys  unfortunately I have no business idea in my head yet as the tot of the fact that this man's life would soon have a new turn has clouded my reasoning.

in conclusion mr poster dont be angry wit me if am wrong. is my opnion anyway.i can not recommend a job for u since i dont even know ur qualification.
y dont u post ur CV[/b] on nairaland luck make smile on u. i discover from ur writing dat if u r nt a scam then u have a low self esteem and dat must change b4 u can succeed
