No, but does he owe you money ?
A team of 11 players and you want to blame 1 player for the coaches tactical blunder? Please tell me have you rewatched the match? A general rule is to always rewatch the match when your nerves are calm to properly analyse the game. Who was Mikel suppose to pass to? Ighalo? Did he or did he not pass to Ighalo who always lost possession as a LONE striker. Or Victor Moses, who was more concerned with feeling the texture of the grass on his face? So why blame Mikel, when Leon Balogun was just as bad also and Ndidi hardly got a tackle in? The only good players that day were Iwobi and Etebo, Ekong to a certain degree. As I stated before, show me a player who has the composure, ball control, physical balance, and ball passing ability in the team who you think can bench Mikel, the closest thing we have is Iwobi and he lacks greatly in physicality and composure( you might not have noticed, but there is a hastiness about his play).

Good observation especially on Leon Balogun. If I were the coach, Awaziem should take the place of Balogun, Emeruo replaces Idowu while Ebuehi for Shehu. Mikel must assume the role of defensive midfielder while Musa goes to the left wing leaving Iwobi as attacking midfielder. Simy should take the place of Ighalo and Ogu for Ndidi.

Honestly I would have loved this result, but what shall it profit the SE to beat Iceland and be beaten silly by Argentina?

No matter how bad Messi n his gang are, the SE can't withstand them.

Well, what do I know? Let me continue my journey grin

Rohr needs to stop talking about his young team

No one really cares

You have experienced defender like a Omeruo but you won’t use him

You have a speedy player like Musa who also has World Cup experience but won’t use him

You have Iheanacho and Simy who play in England and Italy respectively but opt for a striker playing in China

Please stop the excuses, if we get beat today Rohr should kindly not come near Nigeria again.

He should go home from Russia!

Nigeria is going out today.

Let's be frank...anyone who thinks Nigeria would win this game is on a long thing.

Our football setup is in a mess. We don't have agood enough youth system, clubs are chornically underfunded, overged youth players game the system for years, and then flop in the senior team, and we don't have enough good coaches, and what not.

I'm sorry....but we would lose by 2-0 to Iceland.

Because if we beat Iceland, and beat Argentina and qualify, we will decieve ourselves that things are good...and we won't sit down and make the encessary reforms needed to be world beaters.

Wake up Nigeria.

Good one Dyt, but you need to learn work from Robosky02. In the event of a big match like this, you have to do some basic analysis.

That is, present the 23-man squad of both Nigeria and Iceland, their head to head (H-2-H), their big players, both teams' chance of winning, and more.

Nevertheless, to make the thread a good one to follow, you would have to put down the details of the match Venue, time, stadium and capacity e.t.c and a lot of pictures.

With is, more people would have interest in following the thread keenly and religiously. I hope you'd do some little research about the above-mentioned tips, then modify your post.

A win or at worst 2-2 draw over/with Iceland will surely keep our hope alive. Wherein in the latter becomes the case, a Croatia win over Iceland with at least 3 nill, and a win or at least 2-2 draw for us against Argentina will have us qualify from the group. . . Yes, we can qualify with just 2 points in this regard.

Inexperience is likely to be our bane again.

We gave away too many balls and we don't create enough threatening chances. Uzoho is so inexperienced that he does not even know how to create play from the back. He gets the ball and just boots out without commonsense.

I hope Ekong has learnt from his mistake. I also hope that Rohr will not go into this match with a lone striker. He must understand that Ighalo is better at threatening than at scoring. Ighalo is like Brown Ideye. They play better when paired with a much more efficient striker.
