Wrong! He failed to be effective bcosbhe was sloppy even for a 10. We all know Mikel of those days even if he doesn't do anything we are sure of him winning tackles in the midfield. We lost to Croatia bcoz their midfield over powered us same way they did Argentina. If Argentina had played Eva Banega & Biglia in dat midfield instead of mascherano and Perez, they wouldn't have lost that match. Mikel shd be benched. We have good dmf like ndidi & etebo, den let iwobi play 10(amf) we would be OK. The super eagles sofar have only one problem a poor attack. They play well bt upfront the game fade in oblivion. Same with Saudi Arabia, good skill, nice midfield and defence bt poor attack hence unable to convert few chances Into goals.


If u look at the current trend the teams winning are not all the better teams bt the teams dat don't waste their chances and opportunities, teams with biting attacks, teams with attackers desperate to score by any means like Russia

I personally don't subscribe to anyone being indespensible so if We hv sm1 dat can do a better job and feed the attack correctly, fine bt I don't think he's the major problem of dat team for now tho he needs to improve.
