Obviously he "tactically retreated" before things get messy, This issue of Nigerian army is just baffling. how can I have over 700troops dug in ready for defence battle & still end up losing to the attacker, despite that, the commander could not even make an organised retreat sacrificing over 600 troops, This is sheer incompetence!!!! Haba. don't they have artillery or machine Gunners, as the defending forces they should be able to hold atleast over 1k enemies. incompetent commander kawai!!!!

You're not the only one that sees this. It's the only thing that makes long term sense but unfortunately too many prefer to exploit the situations for political point-scoring. Perhaps this type of Nigerians are complacent in that deep down they probably believe Nigerian army is too powerful. They are however the type that call helicopter jet-fighters.
