enonche85:That is why I said, it was more of an entertainment. Russia 2018 went down as the world cup that had more goals. The goals scored in group stage surpassed other world cups. Russia 2018, is arguably one of the best world cup. Qatar 2022 might be better because, more money would be spent. 1 Like |

Kingsley1000: The stone age president did not destroy Nigeria. Nigeria was destroyed by a young PHD holder called Jonathan. He was borne and raised from the creeks of Niger Delta where the oil is being obtained. Our previous leaders are the cursed generation. He said it in one of his sound bites "my generation has failed". |

This is gonna be the most beautiful world cup the world has ever seen. Sadly, it would be held in a nation that sponsors global terrorism. All nations should boycott it. |

Where did we get it wrong in this our blessed country. Looking at this pictures my heart was enveloped with mixed feelings. Are these "beautiful things" only visible to us leaving out our so called leaders? Just look at those pictures...tells you a lot of the mindset of the leaders of Qatar. Why can't we take a cue from places like this? Instead we act like bloodied animals of the 16th century. I can't imagine its our fellow human beings who are creating and actualizing such images as I only see things like this in my dreams. We are 300years backwards mehn and its sooooooo sad. So called giant of Africa can't even boast of a world class structure. We need to start to look "beyond our noses" in this country I sweardown. I just pity all this Politicians who think they are wealthy in this country. Pure examples of "Money miss road". Rich men with poor mindset! Big SHAME on us in this country. Well done Qatar! I know you guys are going to give us a world cup to remember. As for we Nigerians, let's keep folding our hands and watching all these vagabonds give us shit. Shiiooor! |

Nahum777:Yeah but you can see the year where they were poor, famine in the land and the budget of the rulig house increased. The next person that came into power made sure he cut down the budget and improved the nation which is something our leaders have failed to do. |

As for those of you blaming Nigerian leaders for our woes. 90% of Nigerians (both leaders and the followers) contributed to the mess we are in now. When the only thing Nigerians care about is their stomachs and pockets, but you still want the country to move forward. Many Nigerians care more about their ethnic/tribe and religion affiliations than the project Nigeria. Most of the countries in the world that we all see that are progressing have different religion (sects and denomination), different race, ethnic and tribe but they all had the same goal. The goal is how to move their respective countries forward and they are succeeding, but here in my country there is no love, even here on Nairaland which is a microcosm of Nigeria can tell you about Nigeria and Nigerians if you are a foreigner. 2 Likes |
