This 2018 final was just like 2 teams who have already qualified for last 16 but were just playing for who will top the group. It was not as deep as I expected.

That is why I said, it was more of an entertainment. Russia 2018 went down as the world cup that had more goals. The goals scored in group stage surpassed other world cups. Russia 2018, is arguably one of the best world cup. Qatar 2022 might be better because, more money would be spent.

Where did we get it wrong in this our blessed country. Looking at this pictures my heart was enveloped with mixed feelings. As for those of you blaming Nigerian leaders for our woes. 90% of Nigerians (both leaders and the followers) contributed to the mess we are in now. When the only thing Nigerians care about is their stomachs and pockets, but you still want the country to move forward. Many Nigerians care more about their ethnic/tribe and religion affiliations than the project Nigeria. Most of the countries in the world that we all see that are progressing have different religion (sects and denomination), different race, ethnic and tribe but they all had the same goal. The goal is how to move their respective countries forward and they are succeeding, but here in my country there is no love, even here on Nairaland which is a microcosm of Nigeria can tell you about Nigeria and Nigerians if you are a foreigner.

You are right. They were so poor, but they found a way to sell their gas. They have investments everywhere in the world. They really used their oil wealth well.
