We are given a clue of seasons in Mathew 24:32. All the foregoing events that must happen before the coming of Jesus Christ are described as Spring, indicating the imminent coming of Summer.

This is the verse that links the coming of Jesus with SEASONS.

1. The Israelis are not the Israelites of the Bible, if you focus on them as you are reading, you will not understand anything.
2. You need a little knowledge of history

4. This chapter and its prophecies are not arranged chronologically but systematically

Mathew 24 opens with the disciples asking Jesus the signs of his coming
From verse 1 to 15, Jesus gives the characteristics of the tribulation, commencement, middle and end. Wars, famine, pestilences, rumours of war etc

In verse 15, Jesus asks the disciples to flee when they see the sign of the abomination that causes desolation. What is the Abomination that cause desolation?

In Daniel's time, this abomination was the feet of Babylonian soldiers in Jerusalem. Babylon was the ruling nation of that time, and the presence of the Babylonians ultimately led to the deportation of the Israelites from their land, and Jerusalem.
