If we gauge the intelligence of Nigerians based on comments we read here then I think Nigeria is in trouble. For young and educated people to be too lazy to read a little piece before commenting is really shameful. Let me summarize the write-up for the lazy ones.
1. The police didn't say that it was a lie.
2. The only challenge the police had with his action is that instead of reporting at the nearest police station, he drove straight to his church.
3. People were already waiting for the man at the church before he arrived.
So if you were in his shoes and you had a program for which you were late, would you have opted to go to the police station and follow the long process of giving statements at the station or gone for your program?

Going by the comments here, I'm actually surprised anyone actually believes what is clearly a well/not so well stage-managed theatrics to hoodwink the gullible in his environs and the public at large.

Please note that the attention, fame and material trips he stands to gain supersede the windshield of the particular brand of car he chose to pull this stunt with. If you are in doubt, go check his pictures on an earlier thread and the many adverts that duly followed this poorly researched and executed scam. You'd notice he has a Mercedes Benz GL model in his garage and one would wonder why he didn't use that on this day and for this promotion. No one should convince me that the particular vehicle he was attacked in was or could be his favourite.

When I first saw the pictures and saw some gun-totting Civil defence officers as first responders I'm sure, I laughed and wouldn't be surprised those guys were the lead actors in this stage play who perforated the car's windshield elsewhere before the vehicle was moved down to where his congregants were.

With regards to the NPF, we all know how ineptitude and incoherence is their motto if in doubt go listen to the 'Transmission-Transmission-Transformer-Transformation' or read any official letter from their stables. So it beats my imagination why anyone would be surprised at their press release on this issue.

Find a better and closer picture, and zoom in on the bullet holes on the clothes, you would see the clothes was torn with something else not bullet, bullet burn through clothes. It was a shameful act from the pastor.

Just because it did not happen in d presence of police n the pastor did not report to police is not enough evidence to say it's false.

But the police did not disclaim the story. They only said that he should have reported at the nearest police station. I think the pastor outsmarted them. They would have arrested him and impounded the car on the guise of carrying out investigation. All in the quest to make money.

This didn't come as a shock at all. Nigerians must always keep in mind that something may be amiss when they read or hear stories such as this. The whole thing seemed so beliveable until I took a second look at the so called pastor. Then I just thought to my self that this man can't be spirit-filled. Looks materialistic.

Bullet holes at the back!........SMH. so does that mean the bullets actually entered his body and exited through without drawing blood since he was shot from the front? Or did the bullet somehow hit his ass while he was still sitting down?

...but at the end police have not presented any fact to back it up. Have they done investigation? I expect them to do investigation first before saying all these. I mean it's very unprofessional If they are saying this without any investigation....and if they did an investigation and found out that the pastor lied then they should get him arrested.
