Hey! if it makes u feel good to spit @ Ghana grin, why not, go ahead, but rememba! that won't solve your power sector problems and UNCLES CORRUPT LEADERS are there still enjoying, plus the whole world thinks differently abt all the garbage u spitting at Ghana, as u can tell our organisation paid off in the ongoing FIFA  world cup and u might see that as luck, but it ain', there is almost no more room for corruption in these institutions and it doesn't stop there, on an everyday radio tlk show u hear people bashing the government asking for accounts on how our money is spent and where they go and u think tht won' put fears in these leaders? come see the number of government officials on trial, tlk abt your movie industry, I think its abt time they gave us some quality in video and sound, they shud stop this "PLAY" type of acting lol, Ghanaian movies are doing this, u can say the story line ain' tht good but then again it comes down to the viewer, take "perfect picture" for eg. by Shirley Frimpong Manson, her picture quality and sound are simply amazing but no u will stay there and tell us Nigerian movies are the best when infact u shud be demanding betta quality so here are some of the ways the Ghanaian will overtake the Nigerian, whilst the Nigerian producer is thinking of juz cutting out the movie in a fast way to get it on the market so he can make his money, the Ghanaian is thinking of picture and sound quality same applies to your Super Eagles, instead of filling in your young 1's u fill in the grand papa's and think its the shorter way to suxcess and look @ where it got u to, Ghana benched most of their big named players and to add we didn' even go there wit Essien but did u hear a commentator or anyone for tht matter tlk abt how much Ghana wuz missing Essien? cuz the young 1's filled in fine and u cud tell we'v been progressing since 2006,=Ghana qualified for the world cup for the first time in our history and me made it pass the group stage to the round of 16 and in the African Cup of Nations in 2008, = Ghana came in 3rd and in the 2010 African Cup we made it to the Finals and here we are in the 2010 world cup,  the only African country to make it to the quarter finals so u can tell from the trend tht wit good organisation comes suxcess plus FIFA juz ranked us 7th and thts before the likes of Italy, Portugal, Endland and the rest, I juz wanna tell u tht your tiny, little insults won't hurt these developments so juz stay there and sink in your filthy pride thinking its best for your country besides Ogbansanjo ain' gonna give u poo so stay there and use his like as a bluff for your country  , @pafuri and asonaobi, thnx for tha complement Ghanaman mamu ayikooo, we luv Nigeria too

More seriously, I am disappointed at the rate of spite floating around here. I have been to Ghana a couple of times and I can attest to the kindness and respect of her citizens. I have met them out of their country too, and the situation remains the same. I confess that I have more respect for Ghaneans ?? ?? than I have for my fellow Nigerians. I just love them. That nigeria is dumb enough not to levy  some tax on foreign workers, traders etc; or to levy but fail to collect, or even to levy and have such tax stolen by collection agents should certainly not be blamed on Ghana. All that country is doing is to expand its revenue base. Medase Ghana!

look at you! fool!
you were just a houseboy for your Ghanaian Oga. Cooking, cleaning and washing his wife's panties.
F****** the hell out of your Oga's wife when he was not around.
PLEASE!!! you were just there struggling for your stay.

@theamaka : So now I am being called a fool for what afterall is a personal preference. Your vulgarity is shocking! And that from a 'lady'. Anyhow, thank you for proving my point! I will not take issues with you. Lets even imagine that all I ever did in Ghana is what you suggested in your post, would it not have been a shame that I had to go do that in Ghana? And even if that was true, when did appreciation become a thing of the past? For your education, I should inform you that the first time I went to Ghana was in 1992 as part of a research trip that  took me to the UK and the USA from France, in preparation for a Doctorate degree. Eventhough my  stay in that country was for educational purposes, I did indeed get more than that. I must thank my friends, who I never knew, but met in Ghana for all they did to make my stay both intellectually stimulating and socially enjoyable. I will not mention their names (unlike Nigerians, they do not seek the spotlight). I admire them so much. I cannot thank them enough but will take every opportunity to acknowledge them as part of what makes a nation great.  I have been watching how, a step at a time, MY Ghana (yes, MY Ghana!)is solving those problems that everyone thought could not be solved. Miss Amaka-living-in-the-USA, it is always better to ask questions instead of throwing insults around. I have decided not to pay you in kind simply because I am not of that stock. By the way, I, too, live in the USA.

@ruq , U still don' get it do u?, am not looking for Nigeria's downfall oooo, as Africans we have a lot of problems b4 us so these little insults won't solve our problems they will only make them worse , how I wish Ghana and Nigeria and other African countries will perform well @ the world cup
Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by THEAMAKA(f): 4:24pm On Jul 09, 2010
@otum4
yes most of your movies are copycats. the only credit they can give is that they have good quality and sound. what else? WHAT ELSE?
are those things not in Nollywood? eeeh?
or are you comparing old Nollywood movies? LOL!
so again, THAT IS YOUR OPINION.

@Pafuri
as i've said before, GO TO GHANA AND CLAIM YOUR LAND THERE.
CHANGE YOUR NAME TO KWAME KUMASI.
NONSENSE!

whiteroses:

Ghana people are full of hate towards nigerians and its so unfortunate, nigeria is a big threat to ghana thats why they are angry.

YES OOOOO!!!
infact when browsing some of their stup!d websites. imagine coming across articles saying "we have surpassed Nigeria in this" "we rank Higher than Nigeria in that" "Nigeria this" "Nigeria that" everything is a competition with them, why? and the competition always seems to be US! why?
can you imagine? from all the other African countries (Liberia, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Guinea, Cameroon, etc etc), Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria! HA!
anything! everything! won't they mind their own business as we are minding our own?
in their dreams, Nigeria! in their matrimonial bed, Nigeria! in their pot of soup, NIGERIA!
HABA!

@Ruq, this is the type of mentality you were talking about.

otum4:

but no u will stay there and tell us Nigerian movies are the best when infact u shud be demanding betta quality so here are some of the ways the Ghanaian will overtake the Nigerian,
yes you have named the movie perfect picture? and? i can also name 5 movies with good quality.
so your point is? ? ? ?

Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by Ruq: 12:31am On Jul 10, 2010
@Pafuri i dont understand why you would choose Ghana over Naija,When about 60% of African countries wish they were us. Dat's numb! Never compare gana to 9ja its degrading no matter condition. Gana should be compared to Liberia,Togo,Benin,Cameroon, and the likes not us please. They are Damn! Toooo Competitive even the Govt suffers from that. So eff them.
Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by Ruq: 12:39am On Jul 10, 2010
@the Amaka you wont believe this people are vexed at the way we funkyzd our name to Naija or 9ja,which made them come up with "gh" as a short form of ghana which makes no sense! After we came up with the name that we never erase "Ghana must go" they came up with Nigeria is comin. which is better for us. I dont hate this guys but the way they brag makes me say fukk them heavily!.
Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by Pafuri(m): 1:52am On Jul 10, 2010
@Rug : Thanks for not spewing insults and obscenities. Really, when you look at it, it is a personal choice born of experience. Would you rather I chose the USA where Madame Amaka feels so cozy that she is setting African countries against each other? Would I have chosen the USA, Amaka would have called me 'civilized'.

Yes, most African countries wish they were Nigeria but not for the corruption, profligacy, waste, arrogance, and a general lack of decorum. It is because of the natural resources with which Nigeria is blessed. It is not because of the likes of 'Amaka, the Mouth'.

@Rug: Look at it this way,The dollar, the naira, or the pesewa that I earn is not the one you earn. We live in a world oc competition. May the best win. It a universal rule, regardless of Nigerians' arrogance and wishful thinking. It is what it is!

it's not our leaders that made gh peeps hate us. it's the inferiority complex that has been with them from generations prior. Ghanaian were the first to launch xenophobic attacks on Nigerians back in the late '60. why? cos they were thriving in their various business activities. were we known for corrupt leaders back then? hell no! if it's not inferiority complex, i don't know what the heck it is. it was after that xenophobic attack that Nigerians launched the "ghana must go" which was a lot more peaceful than the way Nigerians were bundled out of Ghana in the middle of the night. go to ghanaweb and see how they hate on us and practically celebrate any negative news associated with Nigeria (check this thread started by a Ghanaian and see what i mean).
bottom line, i had a lot of love for the gh folks till i found out how they majority of them felt about us. now i no love lost for them. visit their discussion forums and see for yourself.
