@ amaka : Mark my word, everyone here; Ghaneans, Nigerians will end up shaking hands. Amaka the Mouth, you will be the last xenophobe standing. You are such a bigot that you cant see that lines are joining, positions are coming together, there is a little sign of resolution. Open your eyes, read. If no one has told you, then listen : you need to use your ears and eyes more than you use your mouth, bigot.

Am not Nigerian obolobo like u, say tht to some1 from anotha tribe in Nigeria not me, tht juz goes to show how trabalistic u are, tribalism is 1 thing killing Africans,
When u got an an embassy, are they gonna ask wht tribe u belong to? Re: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by THEAMAKA(f): 10:42am On Jul 11, 2010
you really dont make sense. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NIGERIAN GENES, PERIOD! are you going to argue that?
why would i say "my Nigerian genes"?  undecided undecided undecided undecided
being proud to be Igbo does not make someone is a tribalist. you can be proud and have all the pride you want in your ethnicity, so why should anyone have a problem with that?
saying Igbo genes automatically means light skin and bleaching. LMFAO!!!
sit down somewhere, with your complex issues.
I have no problem saying I'm a Nigerian. so where are you getting your crap from? where did you get that stup!d sh** from?

when you brought in skin color you brought it in as a correlation with beauty. what does color have to do with someone being ugly or not?

by the way, wasn't your last response on this thread 3 responses ago?  grin grin grin

"Try to edit your post". Yes, madam editor. Leaving sustance, chasing after the shadow. A beg answer the question joh!
If you dont know, the least you could do is check in the dictionary. I guess that will be asking too much of Amaka the Mouth. I'm done with your 'thiricolor' behind. Why waste time with a person who is unable to describe her own affliction. I'll let youto go do what you do best : 'use' your mouth., Ms. Kedu America. grin grin grin grin grin grin

@ THE AMAKA, Ruq, Pafuri, Ranoscky and otum4,

I've been reading this thread since it started, I knew then that this is how it would end. Kindly let us sheath our swords please. I take God name beg una.

Let's leave matter to the Actor Guilds of Naija/Ghana, including our governments to sort things out for themselves.

Agreed Ghanaians/Nigerians talk about each other on Ghanaweb, just as it is on Nairaland, but the whole thing has to do with just few people and it's because of the corrupt ways some of our guys are living in Ghana (all Ghanaians can never hate Nigerians). Agreed their is xenophobia, but it's just within a few.

I live in Accra with my wife and children (we are all Nigerians), I've mixed with people in Ghana government, including the lowly and have travelled to some of the regions in Ghana. What some of our guys are doing here is very bad (419 - Sakawa and Robbery). I've never for once been harrassed by anybody for being a Nigerian (my cars have Naija plate numbers). Infact, every Sunday evening between 4pm and 6pm, there is a Naija program on Vibe FM in Accra, that airs Naija stuffs and being anchored by Nigerians. Ghanaians and Nigerians always call in to speak their mind. The anchorlady, Loaded Mama, always say it that we should see ourselves as brothers/sisters.

Me daa si (Thanks). Nyame n srua mo (God bless you all). @ otum4 - AYEKOOO. Peace!

Good morning Miss Kedu America. Thought I should bring your day to a brilliant start.
I saw your Yahoo! picture:a real superstar in her own village! Whats up with the high-heeled shoes on an uneven village lane, 'Ms.  Naomi Campbell in her own mind'? And the hair? the stuff to make the Vietnamese smile to the bank(if you did not know, they control the market for the fake and toxic 'beauty' products that you and your league are ready to maim, kill, or even die for). Your world is so limited, 'Princess-in-a-Village', that you even had to go harass your poor people with tales of the 'fabulous wealth' you have amassed in America. And are you dressed for the occassion or what! Little would they have known that from head to toe, you are worth only $100, at most (I am being charitable here), and the counterfeiters in China Town', New York City will attest to the fact. All that is missing is a knock-off of a Luis Vuitton bag and you would claim to be Marie-Antoinette of 'let them eat bread' fame, in the court of Luis XIV (French Revolution, please!). And this is what they contributed money to send you 'abroad' for? Would they only have known! So now, Amaka the Mouth, you dey pose like oyinbo for Arozinduogu? No one should blame you, what with the poor members of the village development association clearing the way for you in the midst of a non-existent 'mammoth' crowd that came to welcome their high-achieving daughter who has done well in Obodo America. Little would they have known how 'well-done' you were in an attempt to seem to be what you are not. Now, we understand the reason why you are so loud, why you would express 'expert' opinions on issues that you know nothing about, and why, when others want to exercise their own right of free speech, you throw fits, the corners of your mouth foaming up, and smoke coming out of all orifices, both seen and hidden.Oh, the pity of it all. Ahhhhh, that feels good! Now, flush. That was Amaka the Mouth down the sewage. I wash my hands as one should after 'flushing'. I am done.

Thank you Sir Kay. You probably should have come in earlier. That way we could have learned first hand what the bastards are doing to damage whatever good name their fatherland still has.  But, as they its better late than never. I had said that in the end, peace will reign one way or the other. To the ethnic warriors, all one asks is that you always put yourself in another man's shoe. In the early 1980s I witnessed a very sad event near my apartment building, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. On that day, two Ghanaian males were mugged, beaten, and stoned by a crowd of Nigerian polytechnic students under the pretext that the Ghanaians were thieves. Please note, that the poor guys had stolen nothing. I learned later that those two innocent guys passed away as a result of their injuries. I regret that I was too outnumbered to be able to help, and of course you know the police took their time to arrive (eh, bribe was not being given!). It was a case of insecurity on the part of the young mob. Insecurity born out of failed government policies, rabid 'authority stealing', and the inertia of the citizenry which was not demanding accountability of those who pretended, and still pretend, to lead them. The logic was simple: If we let these Ghanaians come into our country, when we graduate we wont have jobs. They even called them illegal immigrants thus displaying an unfortunate lack of knowledge of Africa's colonial past beginning from the partition of that continent. The police came to pick up the poor guys and that was it, nothing, absolutely nothing was one. Is this the kind of country that you love? I will end this piece by asking the xenophobes and the bigots, if this were you, or members of your family, how would you feel? What would you have done. Peace to you all.

@pafuri
it's not our leaders that made gh peeps hate us. it's the inferiority complex that has been with them from generations prior. Ghanaian were the first to launch xenophobic attacks on Nigerians back in the late '60. why? cos they were thriving in their various business activities. were we known for corrupt leaders back then? hell no! if it's not inferiority complex, i don't know what the heck it is. it was after that xenophobic attack that Nigerians launched the "ghana must go" which was a lot more peaceful than the way Nigerians were bundled out of Ghana in the middle of the night. go to ghanaweb and see how they hate on us and practically celebrate any negative news associated with Nigeria (check this thread started by a Ghanaian and see what i mean).
bottom line, i had a lot of love for the gh folks till i found out how they majority of them felt about us. now i no love lost for them. visit their discussion forums and see for yourself.
