I have no doubts that sports are indeed very interesting and engaging physical exercises, especially football, except to the Americans (soccer). But the question now 'IS OUR ALMIGHTY GOD' in support of sports (football)? I'm left with no options than to say that God is not interested and so does not influence the outcomes of football games organized by bodies like FIFA, UEFA, EFA, NFA ETC. Many reasons could be adduced to this claim of mine. One of such is what has become a phenomenon, that is, Mr Octopus Paul predicting the outcome of a match and would be, That automatically proves that is it more of worldly (carnal event) and influenced by some forces from the dark(the gods of this world). The other reason is that it is fast becoming a plot by the gods of this world to manipulate some feeble christians from getting rooted in the things of God. This is because i have seen many christians in the middle of a Sunday or week day service, leave the church all to go and watch a football match, call it premiership, la liga, bundesliga, etc. I doubt if God will be happy while some people do this. This is my opinion,constructive criticisms are highly welcome. Please comment.

AT LAST, SOMEONE IS BEGINNING TO SEE THINGS IN A WAY THAT I PERCEIVE THEM. I HAVE HEARD THAT NFA WERE EMPLOYING SOME JUJU PRIESTS FOR THEM (SUPER EAGLES) TO WIN MATCHES DURING THE NATIONS/WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS. I agree with you. He is interested in everything under the sun. Organic and inorganic. Else He would not have control or know things that are effects of football, for example.
