he's slow, but with that he's been able to beat more than 30 opponents, i bet that's his pattern of fighting and that's been what brought him to where he's now.

He was floored three times by one journeyman in the fight to fill the vacant WBC title (can't remember his name).somehow the judges gave him the fight.This fight was before the Vitaly Klitschko fight.
My point is:the heavyweight division is a pale shadow if itself.If someone as slow and unco-ordinated like Samuel Peter rose to become heavyweight champion,I cannot say more about the division.
There are so many journeymen in the heavyweight division that I cannot remember how long ago it was that a heavyweight title bout got me excited.So if Peter has this so-called record of losing to 3,4 people only,I'm not surprised.The domination by the Klitschko brothers is a reason why the heavyweight division is rubbish.No decent challengers to even make them quiver in their boots.If David Haye is the only realistic chance that the division has for survival,then it's a pity.

FACT is Samuel Peters has never been a good fighter. He lacks technique & stamina, is slow & sluggish, doesn't guide &defend well and his punches are just foam padding and don't carry much weight. I have never been impressed with him from day 1. . .even when he beat Oleg Maskaev for that world title. He was actually losing that bout on points until he landed those (lucky) barrage of punches that caused Maskaev's corner to throw in the towel.
