The quote says following his birth, meaning after his birth, they remained in Jerusalem for the presentation. And even if you do not understand the above, you should at least understand the word , 'returned to Nazareth".

Read the verse above for yourself. Do they ever go to Egypt in the above verse? So let me have the real Jesus please.

Are you referring to Jesus of the book of mathew or Luke. That of Mathew has 28 genealogy (mathew 1 v 18) while that of Luke has 43 genealogy (luke 3 v 23)

that is straight from the bible. Now what is confusing you? Jesus was taken to Jerusalem, which means he was not in Jerusalem.

Herod slaughtered all male infants two years old and under. There were 28 generations from David to Jesus and the annunciation occurred after Mary had conceinved Jesus.

The writers of the Gospel accounts – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – quite definitely affirm that Jesus Christ claimed to be the Son of God, and that he performed miracles to authenticate that affirmation.

On the other hand, if the Gospel writers did not believe in eternal accountability, and so, they callously fabricated the documents that affirmed Jesus’ divine nature, why would they have subjected themselves to the persecution that accompanied Christianity, since “this life” would be all they believed they would ever enjoy?

The infidelic theory makes no sense at all. This is a problem that no skeptic can explain. The New Testament documents are reliable!

It is a well known fact that the mythical Jesus story follows very closely the story of Zeus.

It is extremely likely that the mythical Jesus character comes from the story of the Greek God Zeus. They even look the same.

So, Glory to Zeus in the highest and peace to his people on Earth  Zeus the king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus, and god of the sky and thunder.

Jesus story is not anywhere close to zeus and jesus is not a myth. There are tonnes of historical evidence supporting the fact.
